"I don't know Skye, I've never thought about that until now." Max said as he looked around a little bit. Probably checking if Sophie wasn't in the neighbourhood.
"She brought this right before the race" I said as I gave him the paper. He scanned through it as he was biting his lip.
"So Lando is the dad? I thought they never had sex?" he frowned, I bet he didn't believe it either, I definitely didn't believe it, that's why I called them. "I called them and they send me the original paper" I said as I showed it on my phone.
Safe to say, Lando wasn't the dad at all, which probably made Max even more nervous.
"Did you tell Lando yet?" he asked. I shook my head, I didn't want to bother him before the race and they only send me the results a couple of minutes ago. "No, I will tell him later, after he's done with his interviews" and I also didn't want to tell him here, with everyone around.
I wanted to talk more to Max but I couldn't because Lando walked in not much later. He looked so happy, probably because he still could win the championship.
"Baby, where is our daughter?" Lando laughed as he kissed my cheek softly and bumped Max's fist to say hello. "Oh shit, I don't know" I tried to be as serious as possible but I couldn't hide my smile. "Sophie is with her, probably walking around the paddock" I continued.
Lando nodded and patted Max's back. "Seems like you need a child of your own, your girlfriend is stealing ours" he laughed, but Max didn't. He looked at me, but didn't say a word.
I guess Lando noticed it too because I saw him looking at Max and me. "Make one with your own girlfriend yeah? This one is mine" he said as he wrapped his arms around me from behind and kissed my cheek and neck.

"Max is acting weird, no?" Lando looked at me as I was standing in the bathroom of our hotel. I already told him that he wasn't the dad which he already suspected but he was happy we had evidence.
He didn't believe her, but he was scared she would lie and fake some documents to make him look bad, which was exactly what she did.
"He's worried that he might be the dad" I said as I turned around to look at him. He was leaning against the doorframe, his sleeves were rolled up as his arms were crossed in front of his chest.
He was looking so handsome right now.
"It could be anyone's if we are honest. I don't think it's Max's" Lando said as he shrugged his shoulders and walked to me.
He put his hands on my hips and pulled me closer to his body. "You're looking very pretty right now" he mumbled as he pressed his lips on mine.
He was convinced Maya was talking bullshit and so was I, but I couldn't stop thinking about why Max seemed so worried.
He probably knew more, I could see no other reason why he would be so scared or worried?
I didn't even notice that Lando took off his shirt and pants. He was looking at me with his eyebrow raised. "Did you say something?" I looked at him, trying to show my cutest smile.
"I asked if you wanted to take a shower together, but I guess you're busy thinking about something else" he chuckled.
"I'm sorry, I just can't stop thinking about Max" I honestly said. "Okay that wasn't something I wanted to hear before jumping in the shower with you" he jokingly said but I knew he wasn't entirely joking.
"Can you please talk to him? Ask him why he's so worried?" I walked closer to him and put my hand on his chest.
He grumbled a little as he turned around and turned the shower on. "I will" he said as he picked me up "If you join me in here" he said as he walked in the shower. I could feel the water on my skin and clothes. I was still fully clothed.
"Oh my God Lando, you're such an idiot" I pushed him a little while he was laughing and pulled me closer again. "Don't worry baby, I'll take your clothes off" he said as he helped me out of my wet shirt. "Fuck, you're so sexy when you're wet" his words came out so wrong but they were also very sexy.
He was so handsome. I was so attracted to him, even after all these years. It would never change. Never.
As I was standing in the shower with Lando, I forgot all about Max, Sophie, the championship. I was only thinking about Lando, about this moment.
