Today is some sort of public holiday here in the UK, and we all have been awarded day offs, too, respecting their culture. Avni had dragged us to the mall, saying that she needed to shop for some clothes, as her old clothes were a bit tad now.
"When did you grow so much that your clothes aren't fitting anymore?" I asked in a bored voice.
"Why are you so irritated all the time?" She fired back.
"I am not okay. You didn't let me sleep in. It's a holiday, for god sake." I said with a big yawn.
"You slept till 11 am Kaira Bhardwaj." Avni said in a mocking tone.
"Okay, guys, shut it." Aisha said, intertwining one arm with Avni and the other with mine and dragging us both inside the mall.
"I hate you." Avni mouthed behind Aisha's back.
"Me too." I mouthed back.
"You guys, I know what you both are doing. Act like grown-ups sometimes, please." She said, and we both looked forward.
Avni dragged us from store to store, I am telling you all that this girl is so hard to please, well I am myself too, but not this much. I think next time I will bring my bicycle, so my poor legs won't keep hurting half of the time.
"Guys, I am hungry. I will go to Pizza Hut and order. You both pack up here and come down." I said. They both nodded.
So much for wearing boots, but you don't know when it will start to rain here. Rain comes and go as they wish here, no permanent time.
I was in an elevator with a creepy looking guy and an elderly Indian woman. I was in my own dreamland when a click sound made me come out. The guy was clicking that woman's ass's pics. Eww, disgusting.
Suddenly, the elevator opened, and that guy made a bee line, but no way he was getting away that easily after the poor dirty stunt he pulled.
I knocked him down on the ground, snatching the phone from her. The lady from the elevator came running behind me.
"Ma'am I am so sorry, but this guy was taking pics of you back side." I said, lowering my voice for her.
"What?!" She almost shouted and took the phone from me.
"And you, pervert. Don't you have an ounce of shame." I gritted angrily at him. I saw some people marching up to us.
Avni came in front of me, while Aisha calmed own the elder woman, who was in shock now.
"Avi, call the security." I said, and she did.
"Dadi." "Maa" Some voices came shouting to the woman, I turned to meet the pair of grey eyes, intently watching me.
"Mr. Malhotra." I said with a nod and turned my head instantly to where Avni was, who was looking at me skeptically.
She raised an eyebrow when Aisha called me. I made my way to them.
"Are you fine?" I asked, kneeling down in front of the woman as she was sitting on the bench.
"I am okay, beta. And thank you, darling." She said, patting my head lovingly. This gesture reminded me of my mom, she used to do the same, and my grandmother too, now I think that is has been inherdetery.
"No problem, ma'am." I said softly.
"Don't call me ma'am. My name is Saniya , and call me aunty if you please, but no Ma'am." She said laughing.
"Mumma, Mumma, Mumma, she is Kaira Di, I told you about." Misha came jumping with a chocolate bar in her hand.
"Oh, is that so? And where did you get that chocolate? Is it your Chachu again? Ishaan, I told you -" The other woman, with the big belly, started scolding her.
"Mumma, Aisha Di gave me." Misha cut her.
"Oh, okay. Hi Kaira, nice to meet you. I am Sakhi." She said, extending her hand.
"Hey, nice to meet you." I said, getting up and accepting her hand with a soft smile.
Aisha and Avni came beside me.
"Our perverted guest has been escorted out of the mall with full security." Avni said to me.
"Good job, guys." I said to them.
"Good job, you too. I knew that boots were useful when I gifted them." Avni said. Someone cleared his throat, and it was obviously, Mr. Irritating, aka Ishaan Malhotra.
"Hey Ishaan." Aisha said, finally noticing him.
"Hey, Aisha." He replied back with a big smile.
"Aunty and Sakhi Di, this is Avni, and Aisha, and they are Aunty and Sakhi Di." I introduced them. Ishaan again cleared his throat.
"Fine, this is The Ishaan Malhotra." I said, rolling my eyes, and everyone chuckled.
"Thank you, Ms. Bhardwaj, but I am capable of introducing myself." He replied.
"Oh really, I thought they only taught how to clear throats in kindergarten." I replied back.
"Ouch, and I don't go to kinder garden." He said.
"Oops, my mistake, by your actions, I thought you go to one." I said he was staring at me, and I stared back.
"Guyss? My shopping isn't done. Can we please get back to that task?" Avni said, interrupting us.
"What's so hurry? Have lunch with us, please. I insist." Aunty spoke, Aisha, me, and Avni looked at each other.
"It isn't really appropriate." Aisha started to say.
"Please, I want to treat you all." Aunty pleaded.
"Come na, it will be fun." Sakhi Di spoke, indicating between me and Ishaan, Avni and Aisha understood and chuckled.
"Okay, we will come." Aisha said. And we all went into a really nice restaurant for lunch. That is how I ended up with the Malhotra family for lunch.
"I think some detailing is left." Ishaan spoke once we all were seated.
"And what is it? a memoir to add you detailing?" I taunted. I don't know why, but I can't just shut up around this guy, especially with all his nonsense talks.
"No, about my family. Saniya Malhotra, my mom. Sakhi Malhotra, my Bhabhi, and you guys have already met Misha, my niece." He spoke.
"Really nice to meet you all, seriously." Aisha said. She is the socialist among us three, Avni can handle situations but me, I barely tolerate people, and my boss knows this, so she gives me work of direct verbal communication very less, afraid I might mess up big things, which is totally fine by me.
"So, Di, how many months are you in?" Avni asked carefully.
"Eight." Di answered.
"Wow." Avni said.
"Any of you married?" Aunty asked, and Ishaan spit his water and started coughing.
"Avni is going to be engaged, but me and Aisha are single." I answered for a change, so it doesn't seem weird as Aisha has been answering everything and we might come off as rude people, which we are sometimes but they don't need to know that.
Hellooo again👀👀. Keep up the good work of votes and comments and show immense love to Ishaan and Kaira😚😚.
Enjoyy, byee, see ya, and keep smiling...
