I could have never imagined that this bright soul has gone through something so dark in his teen years, which are considered more troublesome time.
A new found respect was born for him in my heart and when he started crying, my heart started clenching, as if it was experiencing his pain.
I leaned him and kiss his soft lips, I was initially going to withdraw after a peck, but he held me and made me sit on his lap. His tongue was dancing in my mouth while mine was exploring his. It felt like first kiss all over again, magical, refreshing and lovely.
He took it as a challenge, what I meant as a warning. Maybe he will stay or he will leave, it's entirely upto him, but I will tell him the truth.
He dropped me back home, but as I started walking, he pulled me by wrist in a swift moment and pinned between the jeep and himself. My hands on his chest, his heartbeats were rocketing like anything, but so was mine.
He kissed me again, and as soon as his lips touched mine, I melted. I literally melted and he stabled me. He pecked my forehead before I could leave.
We looked up and saw an curious Aisha waving at us. She was down in a moment and what a scolding she gave Ishaan, for disappearing with me.
Her exact words were, "What would have I done, if my eldest daughter went missing in the night with a man?" of course, she was being dramatic.
My mother, trusts Aisha more than me, today too when she called, she gave tons of instructions to Aisha, who just calmly nodded. I would have given up already.
That night, I lay awake, in my bed with the memories of our kiss. His touch still lingering on my body and his taste. He tasted like chocolate, mint and mine.
I was in my wonderland when there was a knock on my window, not sure if it was a knock or someone trying to open it from outside. I took my baseball bat, which was sitting leisurely behind my cupboard and stood near the window frame.
I unlocked it slowly, so as soon as he would enter, I will hit him in the head. The figure came in and I was about to hit, when he shouted.
"Geez, woman, it's me." Ishaan voice boomed.
"What the fuck you are doing here at 1 a.m.?" I asked him in shock.
"I missed you." He said grinning.
"Well, you could have used the door, it's not like that's cursed or something." I said trying to knock some sense into him and making a pathetic attempt to ignore the warm feeling in my chest.
"Well, I didn't wanted one more lecture from Aisha, the mother hen." He said making a face and I laughed.
"That's why you climbed 5 floors?!" I again asked still laughing.
"Oh hello, I do gym everyday, and I am very fit." He said suddenly pulling me to himself by the waist.
"I never said you don't." I replied with a smirk.
"I am good and fit in many many areas." He whispered in my ear.
"We will see when time comes." I replied pushing myself away from myself, and he fell on the bed.
I stood there laughing at him, until he held my hand and pulled me on the bed too, and came over me.
"Now, whose laughing?" He said gazing at me, I shivered under his intense rays of his eyes and pushed him to the side. He fell back laughing but pulled me up against him.
"Kaira, I have been crazy for you over the last two years, I realized as the doofus I am, but now I an not letting you go away. Understood?" He asked pinning me down.
