I woke up and saw Ishaan on my lap and Aishu on my shoulder. It was great. My shoulder was paining. But, the problem was, I was not able to look away from the handsome man sleeping in my lap. He looked so innocent when he wasn't being dramatic and passing unfiltered lame jokes.

I had this strong urge to run my hand through his smooth looking hair, but I decided against it, I tried to shift Aisha's head, but that movement caused Ishaan to wake up.

He instantly sat up and muttered, "I am sorry." to which I replied, "It's okay."

I made Aishu sleep properly, or she would wake up complaining about her back ache.

"Maybe you should go home and fresh up. We got exact one hour before we need to reach The Embassy." I said, turning to Ishaan. My cheeks felt a little warm.

"Well, see you there." he said and exited the apartment, and I was waving bye to him like a fool.

I swatted my hand from the other hand, "What are you doing?" I muttered to myself and went inside.

Once inside the bathroom, I saw myself, slight red cheeks, and hair fully open and flowing like anything. I never open my hair fully. A clip or a clutch is a must. Open hair is sometimes too of a mess for me to handle. As you have gathered, I am not a very good person at handling many things.

As predicted, I couldn't sleep and was yawning the whole way to the office. I bet Ishaan had a good sleep and Aishu, too, those idiots, getting good sleep and not letting me sleep comfortably.

I entered the meeting room, everyone except Ishaan and Boss, were present, I sighed, taking my seat.

Did I tell you guys? That we purchased the car, but it hasn't been delivered yet as some formalities are left.

We had three jars when we three began living together, first to put money in for house, second for car and third for paris trip, for us three girls. Whatever we could save after monthly expenditures, we would split it and put it in the jars, or whenever we got bonuses or extra money, it used to go in the jars.

Ishaan entered 5 minutes late, but who has the guts to say anything to him. He has this dominant and boss aura in the office or while working, so nobody has ever questioned him, at least not infrot of me.

"Shall we start?" He asked, sitting in his chair, and glanced at me.

I got up and briefly explained our budget and the ground or garden, but I still don't know. Then Ishaan took over and spoke about decorations, invitations, and how it will be a chlid friendly place with minimal crackers. The meeting went on for about for two hours, after which Boss lady approved all his plans and gave a good to go sign.

"Kaira, see the preparations personally, because this time some foreign delegates are also coming. So, ensure everything runs smoothly and without a glitch." She said and went to her cabin, Shivam following her.

I yawned and saw Ishaan yawning, too. He was looking at me, but when I turned to face him, he looked away. His cheeks slightly pink.

He was blushing. He was blushing because of me, and that thought gave me a feathery feeling in my heart.

"Ms. Bhardwaj, would you mind a coffee with me?" He asked.

"Maybe later, Mr. Malhotra." I said and turned back to go to my cabin when he again said.

"Wait, you didn't say no, that means it's a yes." He said more to himself than me, I shook my head, glanced a little at him, and saw him smiling like a fool. My own lips threatened to form into a smile, but I rushed out to my cabin.

The rest of the day was uneventful, Ishaan had gone back to whatever he wanted to do, and I was sitting in my cabin when I received a video call from Aisha.

"Dudeeeee, I got so many books." She said happily, holding the stack.

"Who is holding the camera if you are standing there with the books?" I asked, massaging my head.

"Ishaaaaaan." She sang, and Ishaan inserted himself into the frame.

"Actually, we both brought books, not just Aisha." He said.

"That doesn't change the fact that she brought more books than she can fit in her shelves." I said, remembering already backed book shelf in Aisha's room.

"It's alright, we can make a small new one, what say Aisha?" Ishaan said, and Aisha nodded, grinning.

"Aren't you lillte too free for a ceo of an event management company?" I asked in a flat tone.

"Aren't you way too busy?" He asked in the same tone, and Aisha chuckled from behind.

"Okay, bye Kairu, I will see you at home." Aisha said with a small wave.

"Bye darling, see ya." I said in my flow, and Ishaan looked at me with wide eyes.

"I was referring to Aisha." I clarified, clearing my throat and cutting the call.

If I were to write a book, my first preference would be "101 ways to make a complete fool of yourself."

I went on with my daily work after lunch, submitted the reports, and approved some of my visas after checking them thoroughly.

But my mind was wandering around Aisha and Ishaan shopping and having fun. How much I wanted to be there instead of Ishaan with Aisha.

After Avni has found a boyfriend, she spends less and less time with us, which is totally understandable, but for Aisha, she is emotionally attached to everything. She grows sad.

I want to be there for like every step of life because she was with me. Even when, in college, no one believed me, she fought for me, and I wanted to do the same for her.

Tears started forming in my eyes, and I rubbed them away harshly because I had vowed to myself that I would never cry over a boy ever again.
