~Kaira~

"Will this pretty lady give this poor boy a date?" Ishaan asked, kissing my palms.

"I will have to think about it." I replied, and his reaction was worth seeing that I started laughing.

"Come on, Kaira, don't torture me like that." He said sulking.

"You gotta not to do all this in front of me." Aisha shouted from the kitchen.

"Technically, you are in the kitchen, so we are not in front of you." I answered back, and Ishaan chuckled.

"Okay, but not something fancy, okay?" I replied to him, whose face lit up eith 244 watt smile.

"Okay, tomorrow I will pick you up." He said, kissing my cheeks and getting up.

"No, no, where are you going? I made cheesecake." Aisha said, grinning.

"Let him go, then we will have more." I said to her with a smirk.

"That's a plan. Byeee then Ishaan. Goodnight." Aisha literally shoved him out of apartment, and he had a despaired look on his face. Aisha and I sat down, talking and laughing, and after some time, Avni too came, said she heard our witchy laughter.

She is married and lives next door. Her marriage was last week only, and Aisha is threading on fine line with Krish.

"So Aishu, you and Krish? Like seriously?" Avni asked about after a period of time. Because we knew someone had to bring it up.

"No comments." Aisha replied, and Avni didn't push her too much. Evening went on like that, and Avni retired to her house while Aisha sat down with a book, and I got to sleep.

The next day after work, I was getting ready when Twinkle came running into our house. She is Avni's and Aman's sweet, cute puppy who has made our and their house its playground.

I bent to pat her and found a note on her collar.

"I am waiting, Ms. Bhardwaj." Ishaan was here. I applied lip gloss hurriedly and went out. There he was leaning against his jeep, so casually, yet looked so devishily ravishing. Some girls at a distance were looking at him and giggling, ugh.

I marched up to him and placed mine lips on him for rather a long time. At first, he was shocked, too, but cooperated soon enough.

"Pleasure seeing you, my lady." He said, opening the door for me, and I hoped in.

"Where are we going?" I asked, turning to him.

"We are...uh uh, it's a surprise." He said, putting a finger on my lips.

"Idiot." I murmured and sat straight.

"I heard that." He said, and I rolled my eyes.

We descended down some paths until I was standing in front of a sea, with a platform on which, tent and tables and candles and cushions. Wow, it was truly beautiful, and the sea sounds were so calming.

"It's so gorgeous, Ishaan." I said to him.

"Not more than what I am looking at." He said, and I turned to face him, to find him already staring at me.

How did I get so lucky to find a man like him? I didn't even pray or had fasts, but thank you, God, from the bottom of my heart to send such a sweetheart in my life.

~Ishaan~

I asked my PA to set a good romantic dinner side date for Kaira and me. I finished up work fast, changed, and headed straight to her home.

She came down, looking all heavenly and cute too. Her cheeks flushed with pink. If it's a natural blush or her makeup, I need more training to figure out.

Her eyes were shining seeing the setup, and my eyes were on her, her smiles, her movements, and her everything.

I need to ask her something, but first, I need to make the ambiance of it. We settled in comfortably and started with our food basket, which I brought with me.

"Kaira, I wanted to ask something." I said nervously.

"Yes, babe." She said, diverting her eyes from the sea to look at me.

"Will you move in with me?" I said quickly.

"Wait, I am sorry, I didn't think about Aisha, but our house will be next to your old one only. Pleaseeee." I said when, after some time, when she didn't respond.

"It's not like I don't want to live with you, Ishaan. I am just worried about Aisha with all the recent drama." She said.

"And wait a minute, how can you purchase the one next to our apartment? How do you know that they will move?" She asked, boring her eyes at me.

"Krish is the owner of that building, so when I asked him, he told me about tenants." I said, shrugging.

"Krish, what?!" Kaira almost shouted.

"Okay, I assume you didn't know, and let's forget I say anything." I say with a tight-lipped smile.

"That's why the rent has been increasing and decreasing past few months." She said face palming herself.

"Don't let Aisha hear this anytime sooner, okay? She has been mad about the fluctuations in rent." Kaira said, pointing at me.

"Okay, Ma'am, as you wish." I said in mock surrender.

"And, if I can leave near Aisha, then I will move in with you." She said, pecking my lips, and thanks to my quick reflexes, I caught her neck at the right time and deepened our kiss.

The ambiance was so romantic and erotic, we shed out our clothes in no time, and had the best time on the sea side.

I am on the best phase of my life, my love, my family, my company, and everything I have ever wanted in my life. I would be lying if I said that I didn't picture a future with Kaira when we first met. I have been smitten since then.

Let's have a good life ahead, where we all be blissfully happy, and by everyone I meant, Aisha and Krish too. Though their story is still unfolding slowly but there are progresses.

That was our modern fairytale.
With this, me and Kaira sign off.

#Ishki forver✨️❤️.
Thank you sooo much to all the readers and Nixies who supported me throughout, and I hope that you all keep supporting and believing in me like this. I am so sooo grateful to you all for everything✨️✨️❤️❤️.

Kaira and Ishaan got their story with a little drama, a lot of dark past and kick ass moments. They thrived through all of them and got their beautifully perfect ending. Though I am gonna miss them, everyone is their in the next book, too, so it's a little relief.

Catch City Of Stars from tomorrow onwards. Thanks, and here you writer too signs off.🥺😭🦋❤️
