Word was going around that Reya Corp was going to be sold.Everyone was so eager to meet the new owner for the same  rumors had it that he was handsome and hot____not forgetting to mention,young.

Reya Corp was the leading shipping company in the US and for the last 2 years,it had made a name for itself.Its major offices in Ohio were blowing up with rising sales and with the Reya family so busy, everyone thought they couldn't manage it anymore,so they sold it.

The truth was that the family had so much on their heads after the death of the old man and without a responsible enough person to take control of the company,they decided to sell it,after all their family was mad rich.

Kayla Mathews could not understand what the fuss was all about.Leave alone her dislike for men,she just didn't understand why the new boss would be such a hot topic in the office yet no one has even met him.

Kayla was one hell of a woman,as the people would say.With her undeniably beautiful face,ocean blue eyes,full pink lips,button nose and her brown hair that fell slightly below her shoulders,people could not take their eyes off her.
Her hour glass shape,as people called it was just a perfect finishing to Kayla and those who knew her often wondered why it was that she had never dated anyone.Some even thought she might be gay.But that wasn't even a close answer.

With her wrap on blue dress that matched the color of her eyes,her hair pulled back in a single ponytail and red stilettos,she walked through the offices with her head held high avoiding the office gossip.

Kayla was the Personal Assistant of the boss of the company and with a new boss,she wasn't sure she would still be one.I guess that is why she had been going through the papers and internet looking for available jobs.She had taken good care of the office since the old man had become critically ill and with all the work handled properly,there wasn't even a chance to complain though like the workaholic she was,she often found something to do,for her,nothing had ever been perfect despite everyone complimenting her work.

It had not been a surprise that she had been promoted to PA only two weeks before.But as I said earlier on,she wasn't sure she would still be the PA once the new boss came in.

With the ruckus in the office finally growing dim and with only a few gasps here and there,Kayla assumed they had grown tired,so she went on to check whether  all files she had in hand were in order and correct.She had to  make sure everything was done and ready for the new boss and his assistant before going to her office.

Having done so,she waited on the doors of the elevator to open at the floor of her office ,straightening her dress once more.

But she wasn't at all ready for whatever came in next.I guess that is partly why she dropped her coffee on the floor.
