Chase's POV-
I kicked the wall, cracking some of the plaster, which resulted in a small cloud of dust. A small effect, but not what I was hoping for. Even crappy wall plaster can apparently keep a bionic human contained, especially one who doesn't have the strength of Adam.
I groaned, spinning around and storming over to the door and banging on it.
"Lemme out!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, continuing to bang my heart out against the cement door. "Let me out!" The skin on my throbbing hands was getting ripped off as I slapped the rocky wall. "Please!" With each hit, the feeling of shards of glass tore my hands apart, crimson liquid sliding down my wrists and splattering onto the floor. With each hit, I became physiologically weaker. I could feel a sliver of water slide down the side of my cheek, followed by a second. Eventually, one tear after another, I was un-able to go on, and slid down the side of the wall. Defeated. Helpless. Hopeless. Back to square one. I shook my head, forced a smile, and made my way over to the bed.
I lay down on it, staring up at the metal grid of the ceiling, blinking away the tears. I needed to replace the situation with an open and positive mind, my usual speciality.
A sudden click echoed around the cell walls, snapping me out of my thoughts. Frankly, my 'self-motivation-by-means-of-positivity-talks' are pretty stupid anyway, and I was glad of something else that'd help occupy the time.
In stepped Gordon, followed by two armed guards. I noticed that Gordon had his professional scowl kitted onto his face, the same one he wore when we first met. Not the best of times. I noted not to make the wrong move, more personality and intelligence wise than physically.
Gordon stopped in front of me, arms folded, and bit his lip. Already not going too well. The agent raised his eyebrow and gestured towards the main building entry for the facility.
"They couldn't bring your capsule thing in" he stated, not much emotion in his voice. "Transportation issues, as well as not being able to find the god damn thing".
There was an upside and a downside to this news. The upside is that the FBI hadn't found the lab, which means Adam and Bree's secret will be kept. Thank god. But, the downside to the situation made everything seem a hell of a lot more difficult. "Damn, I'll be glitching like mad now".
Gordon slapped his hand down against the metal frame of the cot, sending a wave of vibration across the floors. I scooted towards the back of the bed, holding my breath, and watched the older man.
He shook his head and rested his hand on the gun in his side belt.
"The world," he started. "The world is a selfish, greedy and destructive place, Chase. It's filled with power-hungry people who have no sense of humanity. Do you understand?"
I nodded, a lump in my throat refraining me from saying anything.
"Good".
There was silence for a moment, allowing me to think of what the hell Gordon just said meant. I was interrupted by him clearing his throat, slightly awkwardly, followed by a sigh.
"I don't know whether what happened yesterday was a glitch, an effect of you not having your capsule-thing. But, it could just be an effect of you. You, being a super human with no proper restraint. You could just be a privileged kid with anger management issues. Whatever it is, stop it. Stop it now. End it before we're forced to take control of it instead".
I was so confused.
"What happened last night?" I asked, slightly shaken.
"What the hell happened!? You, a scrawny piece of nothing, took out one of my best operative agents. Singled handedly! I'm sorry, is anything coming to mind? Maybe if I be a bit more specific. You, you, killed, K.i.l.l.e.d, one of my agents. Zev? Ringing any bells?"
I soon realised what he was talking about.
"Shit, Spike" I muttered. I'm such an idiot!
"Are you gonna explain to me how the hell something like that happened!?" Gordon pushed.
I sighed, deciding to tell him the whole 'Spike' story.
"Here's a somewhat logical explanation for all of it" I promised, sighing slightly. "What you witnessed was my Commando App. Technically, it's an alter-ego. When I feel threatened or incapable of taking something, or someone, down, it kicks in - Spike kicks in. When Spike's in, practically all hell breaks loose. I have no control whatsoever over my actions, and he has a mind of his own. When he takes over, I loose all consciousness and have no memory of him when I wake up. And that's pretty much it, I guess".
I looked up, expecting to see some sort of 'understanding' look forming on Gordon's face. The only thing I got in response was professionalism;
"You didn't tell me that you are a Bruce Banner, with a alter-ego Hulk, when you first got here? Which, I might add, could've helped save the lives of the people working here."
And he walked out, the two guards along with him, leaving me alone to drive slowly insane.

So, I decided to just do another Chase chapter since I can't think of anything for Bree - if you guys can help me come up with an idea for a Bree or Adam chapter then that'd be awesome!!! Also, I know that this chapter was kinda confusing/weird so I'm sorry about that! Hope it was ok anyway.
This week the dedication goes out to *drum roll*...
