Chapter 11

Leo's POV-

I walked back outside, the police car waiting to escort me home. For some reason we weren't allowed to leave the house unattended, meaning that we always had to have a police escort with us. I honestly don't know why they're making us do this. Standard police regulations maybe? Probably it's just that they don't trust us. 

The whole drive home was an extreme bore. I was snapped at several times for trying to turn the radio on. After that I just decided to stare out of the window. 

Once home, Adam, Bree and mum bombarded me with questions. I told them my conversation with Big D word for word. After I finished, Bree ran her fingers through her hair. 

"So, is he in on our plan?" She asked uncertainly. 

"I'm sure he is," I told them truthfully. "If it were me in prison, I'd be up for anything! Even if it is completely stupid". 

I sniffed and wiped my nose on my sleeve. 

"Leo?," my mum asked. "You OK sweetie?"

I nodded, sighing slightly. "I feel like I've abandoned him somehow" I told her truthfully.

My mum smiled softly and pulled me into a squeeze. "It's alright baby," she said, stroking my hair. "Nobody's abandoned him, especially not you". 

"I know" I replied, pushing her off. "But it still feel like it's somehow my fault that this has all happened. I dunno why though". 

Bree put her hand on my shoulder. "We all feel like that, Leo. We just have to stay strong".

"I don't" Adam shrugged.

Bree glared at him.

"Well, I don't. And you guys shouldn't either. It's all Chase's fault. He's the reason this has happened to us, Mr Davenport, and himself. If you wanna blame someone, blame the actual culprit. Him".

"Adam!" Mum screamed. 

"I'm just saying" he said, putting his hands behind his head defensively. 

"How can you say that!?" Bree screamed at him. "We're a family, we love Chase, and Mr Davenport, so don't bring it all down on him!"

"I'm not saying I don't love him, he's my brother!" Adam argued.

"Shut up Adam! You don't love or care for him!"  I accused him. "If you did then you wouldn't be saying any of this!" I glared at him, not blinking. 

Bree lay her hand on my back, which I quickly shrugged off. 

"Leo?" My mum asked quietly. 

"Just leave me alone! All of you" I told them and stormed upstairs.

I couldn't believe how calm they could be, even after all this family's been through!

When I was in my room, I shut the door. Actually, I slammed the door. I ran over to my bed and flopped onto it, screaming into my pillow and punching it several times.

After a few minutes, my throat was coarse and my hands throbbed, so I flipped onto my back and stared up at the ceiling. I felt truculent, still angry at Adam. I felt angry with most people actually. I was angry at Adam, at Bree, at mum, at the FBI, at Big D, at Chase, at the air vent, at that girl Chase saved, at most of Mission Creek. Mostly, I was angry at myself. Angry and annoyed that I couldn't do anything to help Chase, or Big D for that matter. 

I started thinking, not having much else to do. Somehow, Big D, as well as Chase, would have to be saved. And with Chase's location unknown, and Big D in the hands of the police, there'd be no way I'd succeed with any plan.

All righty!! So short chapter from Leo's POV.

CAN I JUST SAY THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR THE 8K ON IMAGINES AND THE NEARLY 5K ON CAPTURED!!! I'M SLIGHTLY FREAKING OUT IF YOU HADN'T NOTICED ALREADY!!! 

So this extremely important question I need answering is I need to know which character you want to have their POV next? I know I've asked you guys this before, but what you guys want is what's most important here, right!? So let me know in the comments and hopefully your preferred character will be the next POV. Also, I'm thinking of dedicating the chapters to people now. So, I update every week, and if you've been really awesome that particular week then you might get a dedication!! :)
