So Bree seems to be quite popular! After her we'll have a look into how Mr Davenport's going in prison...

Bree's Pov-
Leo scribbled down another idea.
I shook my head. "Last time we tried that, we ended up selling everything in the house" I reminded him.
Leo nodded and, thinking better of it, quickly scratched it out, adding to the long list of rejections. So far the only things we can think of are either dangerous, we've tried before and failed, or just bad ideas in general.
I scrolled through the list of ideas other people sent to me on my iPad.
"We could sell things on EBay" I suggested. "Or we could sell some of Mr Davenports clothes. I mean, who needs a shirt for each day of the year!?"
Leo wrote down those ideas.
I sighed and kept scrolling through the list. One idea caught my eye. "Apparently, there's this app called Gigwalk, which pays you to complete tasks, like taking pictures of restaurant menus or verifying roadblocks, and loads of easy tasks".
Leo raised an eyebrow. "Sounds easy enough, I guess. How much do they pay?" He asked, suddenly interested.
"Um..." I bit my lip, researching. "Four dollars per task". Suddenly the idea didn't sound so good.
"Oh" Leo mumbled, crossing out yet another no-good idea.
I groaned.
"How are we supposed to find a way to make twenty billion bucks if all our ideas are completely useless?" Adam complained.
I muttered a response, just as Tasha waltzed into the room.
"Tasha?" Adam and I said in unison, equally surprised.
We hardly see her any more after 'the incident'. Just by looking at her you could tell she hardly left her room. She had major bed hair, which was all greasy after her not washing it for a while. Her eyes were bloodshot, as well as extremely puffy, and her nose seemed to be quite red too. She was still wearing her pink, silky pyjamas, which seemed to have small stains under her armpits.
"Back from the dead?" Leo asked his mother sarcastically. He looked her up and down before adding "actually, the walking dead".
Tasha glared at him and folded her arms.
"What're you kids doing anyway?" She asked softly, her voice cracking.
"Trying to make money so that we can bail Mr Davenport out of jail' Adam answered confidently.
I slapped him, trying to get him to shut the hell up. But, of course, it was already too late.
Tasha gave him a funny look before turning to me.
"How much is it for his bail?"
"Twenty million" I replied, less confidently.
Her eyes grew wide, only adding to her personal list of ugliness she seemed to be waving around. She inhaled deeply. Her exhaling was the key to noticing she hadn't cleaned her teeth any time recently.
"How're you going to pull that off then?"
"No idea" Leo shouted, throwing his tablet across the room, obviously annoyed.
"Well, what ideas do you have on that list, assuming that's what it is".
"You mean, apart from the ones that are too dangerous and the ones we've tried before and failed? Um, none" he told his mum.
"How about you guys split up and try earning money in different ways?" Tasha suggested. She looked at our confused faces.
"Care to elaborate?" I prompted.
She sighed. "Like, one of you try to get a job somewhere that pays well, maybe Leo. Bree, you could try doing a bake sale. And, Adam..." she paused for a moment. "You could create a fair ground and let little kids play games and go on rides for three to five dollars each turn".
"Huh?" Adam replied.
"Well, you could hire a bouncy castle, maybe let people use the old paintball guns in the basement, or make that game where you have to knock down as many cups as you can with three balls".
"Fishing for ducks!" Adam insisted.
"That's the idea!" Tasha grinned."'And you can give them Donald's dolls, action figures, as prizes".
"Yeah, OK, that sounds like something Adam could handle" Leo agreed. "But where do I get a job?"
"Go to the library and stack books, work at a cafe, go on paper runs. Something easy but pays well".
"Sounds like a plan" he said, smiling.
Now it was my turn to go against Tasha's idea.
"A bake sale would buy us a lamp, that's it" I told her.
"No" she said, probably enjoying proving us all wrong. "This one school in California managed to raise six hundred dollars from one bake sale".
I gave her a 'fair enough' shrug.
"Sure that's a lot, and they are quite good ideas that could earn us around two or three thousand. But how do we earn the other nineteen million bucks?"
"We could do the bake sale and Adam's fair in different locations, moving every week or so. That way we can get money from different suckers and end up earning more" Leo supplied.
"Someone's a little business man" Adam credited.
Leo shrugged. "But that would take ages to earn the full twenty million" I said, hating to be the pessimist of the group.
"I'll ask a few relatives and friends, as well as selling a few months worth of Donald's shirts" Tasha said.
There was silence as we all decided if it was worth the trouble of trying.
"Well I think it's a good idea" Adam announced, breaking the silence.
"It's certainly better than the ones we came up with" Leo agreed.
He, Adam and Tasha looked at me, wanting my opinion, yet fearing the worse.
I nodded. "Might as well give it a shot" I told them, earning a huge grin from everyone.
"Right then" Tasha said excitedly, clapping her hands together for effect. "Better get started then, shall we?"
