"Everybody freeze!" A loud man stormed into the building. It was a police officer. He was standing alongside many other cops who seemed surprised at the bloodied up teenagers and passed out old man on the floor.

"Alright everybody out and go get checked out by one of the EMTs" another officer yelled. "You will all be questioned before leaving the vicinity" Anthony began leading me out the door and down to one of the EMTs open trucks. Eli and Dimitri walked with us and we all sat in the truck while two EMTs began checking us out. One of them was a women who couldn't have been older than 25, she began cleaning the dried blood from under my nose and my chin while she asked me questions like "where does it hurt the most?" "what's your name?" "how old are you?" "do you remember if the glass hit you anywhere beside your cheek?" I answered them slowly she told me I was doing a great job which I didn't really know what I was doing. She used tweezers to get the glass out of my cheek and then held what I think was gauze to my face to stop the bleeding. I kept squeezing Anthony's hand as she slowly removed more tiny glass pieces from my face then pushed harder every time on the cuts. He didn't seem to mind just would send me worried glances if I made a hissing sound when she pulled out a shard.

"Alright does anything else hurt?" She asked. I gently shook my head but she didn't seem to buy it. "Alright but I just have to check your arms, legs, and stomach before you're clear to go" I nodded in understanding as she rolled up my sleeves and started to feel my arms. There were some small bruises but nothing crazy. She then looked at my legs and it was the same thing some miner scratches and bruises but other wise I was fine.

"Alright can you lift up your shirt a bit so I could see your stomach?" I nodded at her as I lifted my sweatshirt showing my stomach. Her breath hitched causing me to look and see an already purple and black bruise as big as a shoe on the side of my stomach. "Alright, well let me go get some Ice sweetie I'll be back" she exhaled and walked to another truck.

"Hey you alright, Cass" Eli asked as I sat down with a blanket around me.

"Yeah it's just a bruise" I said back to him.

"Alright you four sit here till your questioned" the male EMT said as the woman handed me an ice pack, I grabbed it with a small thank you and placed it on my stomach feeling a burn from the cold. "Make sure to rest, you've been through a lot, especially you two" he pointed down to me and Anthony with a light hearted smile then walked over to some other kids.

Silence filled the air between us. We all were in our heads we didn't even realize the lack of talking. I let out a yawn as I felt Anthony's hand on my back. I leaned into his side and laid my head on his shoulder as he slowly rubbed circles on my back.

"Who the hell puts glass in the middle of a dojo" I say breaking the silence.

"Exactly!" Dimitri's head shot up "that's what I'm saying" the three of us laughed at his enthusiasm. Somehow the conversation turned into weird video games that I didn't understand but it made the boys really happy so I didn't try to change the topic. I just let my eyes close while still leaning on Anthony.

"Aww she's exhausted" I heard the familiar sound of Robby's voice as he walked up.

" Yea, she looks so calm" I heard Dimitri say with a laugh.

"Not with all the cuts on her face, she looks like she just got attacked by a bear" Robby joined in the laughter. I opened my eyes enough to see him without him knowing I was awake and kicked him causing him to stumble a second. I then opened my eyes and laughed with Anthony and Eli. "Oh yea real mature Cassie" I stuck my tongue out at him and he quickly did the same.
