"What the fuck are you doing here" Cassie's expression was cold. Her eyes were narrowed and her mouth went straight. She wanted to slam the door, to punch the women who wouldn't leave her alone, to kick her out without a second glance. Anthony's hand was on Cassie's shoulder as a way of comfort he knew she needed.

"Cassie I really wanted to see you" the woman smiled. That alone made Cassie shiver. How could she be so calm, so normal. She rolled her eyes at the thought of having a full conversation.

"ROBBY!" Cassie screamed, turning her head from the door. Robby and Tory burst out of Robby's room at the sound of Cassie's scream for what sounded like, she needed help.

"Mom?" Robby didn't hide his confusion for a second. "What are you doing here" Robby slowed his steps as he approached the door with Tory trailing him. "Go to your room, I got it" Robby turned to Cassie with a look of pity. Cassie took Anthony's hand and headed to her room without a second glance.

"Wait but I wanna talk with her" Cassie could hear her mother say.

"She doesn't want to talk to you, mom" Robby sighed, he wondered why she had to do this and put him in an awkward situation.

"Well I'm her mother and—is Johnny home?" His mom looked around the condo; clearly not amused.

"He's across the hall with Carman" he huffed looking to Tori for some help.

"Can you get him please" it wasn't a question, it was a stern statement hidden behind a beautiful smile.

"Yea, you can come with me across the hall" Robby said heading to the door

"I'll wait here"

"Mom I'm not stupid" he huffed with his hand on the door knob. She raised her eyebrows at him in phony confusion. "I know as soon as I close the door you'll try to talk to her. So just come on, please" he pointed out of the open door to the communal area outside.

"Fine, have it your way" she walked out the door with both Robby and Tory watching to make sure she wouldn't turn around and make a run for Cassie's room.

"I'll be right back, can you check on Cassie please. I know that she's freaking out right now and—" Robby turned back to Tori before he could leave with his mom.

"Robby, hey, I'll check on her it's ok" Tory reached for his free hand and gave it a squeeze. Robby nodded to her with a smile and turned, walking out, closing the door behind him.

Tory walked down the hallway to Cassie's room. She stood outside and gently knocked. Tory knew what it was like to have family problems like this. She knew what to expect, and she was ready to help Cassie.

"I'm not talking to her!" Cassie yelled, Tory could hear sadness and anger in her voice. She slowly opened the door and spoke right away, as to not worry Cassie that it was her mom walking in.

"It's just me, no one else, I promise" Tory closed the door behind her and stared at Cassie, who was sitting all the way in the corner of the bed hugging her knees to her chest with tears slowly falling down her cheeks. "Her and Robby went to get your dad" Anthony was next to her with one hand on her back and the other on her right knee, he was gently rubbing her back as more tears fell.
