( the Next Day )

Mera was currently in Flying Class, Ben was standing in front of her with his broom beside her, while her was laying beside her. Madam Hooch was explaining the day's lesson.

Ben: ( whispers, to Mera: ) Mera, are you okay? I've noticed that you weren't fully paying attention in class yesterday.

Mera: ( whispers back, blankly: ) I'm fine.

Madam Hooch: Now, pick up your brooms, students. Then we will begin the lesson.

Mera stood in between Rowan and Ben as everyone picking up their brooms, Mera did it with ease, which somewhat bored her.

( Slight time skip )

Mera was now calmly reading one of her spell books in the Courtyard, which was empty, until Rowan walked in.

Rowan: There you are, Mera. You really like to study, probably even more than me.

Mera: It's a good way to avoid people.

Merula then appears, which caused Mera to mentally groan.

Mera: ( to self: ) I just had to say it out loud.

Merula: Isn't this precious?

Mera: ( to Merula, with a blank expression: ) Don't you have anything better to do? Brushing your hair maybe?

Merula: Hello, Mera. You're looking well for a weirdo. While you were doing nothing, I've been doing a little research about your brother.

Mera: ( pinched the bridge of her nose ) ( silently to self, annoyed: ) What is everyone's obsession with my brother? He's just some boy with a terrible military haircut.

Rowan looked at Mera with a raised brow, as she heard what Mera said about her brother and was confused by Mera's behavior whenever anyone mentions her brother.

Mera: ( to Merula: ) Why can't you simply leave me alone?

Merula: Because you're a danger to Hogwarts just like him, and none of us will be safe until you're gone.

Rowan: What are you talking about, Merula?

Merula: Mera's brother didn't just get expelled for endangering the entire school in search of some imaginary vaults...

Mera: ( silently, cletches her fist, is starting to get annoyed: ) Enough...

Merula: He immediately went missing, and the next time he was seen, he was working for Voldemort.

Rowan: ( to Merula: ) You can't say that! You have to call him He Who Must Not Be Named!

Merula: I say what I want.

Mera: ( to Merula, coldly: ) I advise you shut your trap. Right. Now. If you're trying to rile me up, you are failing. As far as I am concerned, my brother is dead to me, I don't care about whatever he does anymore. Now, if you excuse me, I have much better things to do, unlike you, Merula.

Merula: I don't have better things to do? I'll duel you right now.

Mera then grabbed her book and began walking away from Merula with a blank and emotionless expression.
