Mera went into Transfigurations with a blank and tired expression. She then went to Professor McGonagall.
Mera: ( blankly, but politely to Professor McGonagall: ) Greetings, Professor McGonagall.
Professor McGonagall: What can I do for you, Miss Spelling? And are you feeling alright?
Mera: ( blankly, but politely: ) I'm fine. If it's not a bother to you, if I could take up That advanced Transfiguration lessons you offered me after our first class?
Professor McGonagall: Of course, it's not a bother, but you'll have to wait until I send you an Owl when it's time for your private lesson.
Mera: I understand, but sadly, it appears that I really need to learn the Revelio Charm, Professor.
Professor McGonagall: Why?
Mera: ( to Professor McGonagall, blankly and honestly: ) To make sure that what happened to Ben Copper doesn't happen again. I know it may appear to be a surprise to some people, but I do care deeply about those I view as my friends.
Professor McGonagall: I appreciate your ambition, Miss Spelling. But, I don't think you are ready to learn a spell as difficult as Revelio.
Mera: Professor McGonagall, please, I can't risk losing someone close to me...not like I lost my brother to the nonsense with cursed vaults.
Professor McGonagall knew by the look of hidden sadness behind Mera's eyes and blank expression, that Mera really meant what she said about not wanting to risk losing someone close to her.
Professor McGonagall: I will teach you Revelio when you have proven yourself, Miss Spelling. I would typically have you attend many classes in preparation, but since you now accepted my offer for a private lesson, this will be easier. You will receive an owl when I've determined that you are ready to learn Revelio.
Mera nods her head in understanding in response before she took her seat as class was about to begin. As Mera was doing her Transfiguration studies, she noticed that Professor McGonagall was keeping an close eye on her, on any signs of anything that might be odd or out of the ordinary of her. Mera was slightly confused by this, but she decided to brush it off so she can keep all of her focus on her studies. By the end of the class, Professor McGonagall knew that Mera was ready to learn the Revelio Charm, after seeing how focus she was in her studies, but as she noticed that Mera was showing slight signs of tiredness, which was barely noticeable due to Mera fighting it off and was focusing on not showing it, she was slightly worried about Mera's well being if she did cast Revelio, and she wondered how powerful Mera's Revelio might be...
