Mera walked to the Vanished Stairs and to Merula and Bill.
Mera: ( to Bill, blankly: ) Are you ready for this, Bill?
Bill: Ready? I'm excited. I finally get to stop talking about being a Curse-Breaker, and start acting like one.
Mera: ( to Bill, blankly: ) And with that said, I now question your sanity.
Merula: We need to get up the stairs, and through the corridor as quickly as possible. The slower we move, the more we'll be affected by the cold.
Bill: Got it. Just stay behind me, you two, so I know you are both safe.
Mera: ( thoughts, sarcastically: ) Great, now he's also sounding like my brother. ( To Bill, blankly: ) You be careful as well, Bill.
Merula: Trust us, you haven't seen anything like this before...
Bill: ( confidently: ) Don't worry. The Cursed Vaults have never seen anything like me...
Mera: ( blankly and honestly: ) I'm pretty sure the Cursed Vaults don't have eyes...
The three walked up the stairs, Mera was still fighting off the dizziness in her head as it slowly began growing stronger. When they got to the end of the Cursed Corridor, they saw that a wall of ice was blocking their way to the door.
Bill: It's absolutely incredible...
Mera: ( blankly and honestly: ) It must have taken complex magic to build this place. Whoever built the Cursed Vaults must have been powerful, yet insane.
Merula: ( to Mera: ) What's with you thinking that everyone is insane?
Bill: You guys weren't exaggerating about the cold. I wish I brought the woolly mittens my mum knitted me. How did you get past all of this ice before?
Mera: It wasn't here before, last time it was a wall of mist.
Merula: It must be another one of the vault's defences. We'll have to get rid of it... Mera.
Mera: ( sighs ) I should've seen this coming when I learned Incendio. Back up.
Bill and Merula stepped back as Mera pulled out her wand with a serious expression.
Mera: Incendio!
After Mera casts Incendio on the wall of ice, it melt all of the other walls of ice behind it, making a clear way to the door.
Bill: Nice work, Mera.
Merula: Good job. Now let's get through the door.
They walked in front of the door.
Mera: Be careful, we don't want to end up in the Hospital Wing.
Bill: That's the mistake you made last time. We have to attack before it has a chance to attack us... Incendio!
Merula and Bill then started attacking the door with Incendio, while Mera stood back as she didn't want to risk hurting them by casting Incendio. Then suddenly a blast of ice hits Bill, and froze him to the floor.
