Mera was about to walk to the common room when Merula walked to her with two other Slytherin students.
Merula: Mera, I want you to meet the new members of our team that I mentioned earlier. Barnaby, Ismelda meet Mera Spelling.
Barnaby: Hi. Is it true that you have a bulk of ice for a heart?
Mera: ( blankly: ) Greetings. I'll make this clear, I am just an average witch, don't listen to the rumors.
Merula: Wait, Mera, you aren't going to question their sanity?
Mera: ( to Merula, seriously: ) I don't have to, I can already tell that one is crazy and the other is just an idiot.
Ismelda: I like her already.
Barnaby: Hey, that's not nice.... I'm not crazy.
Mera: My point has just been proven.
An owl flies to Mera and gives her a letter from Professor McGonagall.
Mera: ( reads the letter, before she looks at Merula with a blank expression ) If you can excuse me from this socializing you are having me do, I need to go do something that apparently according to you I am the only one that can do it.
Mera then walks off and went to the Transfiguration classroom for her private lesson with Professor McGonagall.
Professor McGonagall: I've been very impressed with your work ethic, Miss Spelling. You have made great progress in Transfiguration both in the classroom, and in your private studies.
Mera: Thank you, Professor McGonagall. Did I succeed in proving that I am ready to learn Revelio?
Professor McGonagall: Yes, you did. Please pay close attention... The Revelio Charm is used to show the true form of things, and to make the invisible visible. Let us begin.
Mera: ( thoughts: ) Hopefully nothing bad happens... If I jinx that, Merula is getting a smack on the back of her head for telling me to learn this spell.
Professor McGonagall then brought Mera to a table that has a cauldron on it.
Professor McGonagall: Concentrate, Miss Spelling.
Mera then studied Professor McGonagall's wand movement as she demonstrated and listened to her carefully.
Professor McGonagall: This spell was used to unmask Gellert Grindelwald in 1926.
Professor McGonagall then stepped aside to let Mera make an attempt to cast the spell.
Professor McGonagall: You may now attempt to cast the Revelio Charm, Miss Spelling.
Mera then took a deep breath before she pulled out her wand and looked at the cauldron.
Mera: ( thoughts: ) Come on, Mera, you can cast a spell normally for once, just think of being a normal person. ( Out loud: ) Revelio!
Mera casts Revelio, suddenly two balls of magic appeared and started bouncing off the room, one hits the cauldron revealing that it was actually a cat. Mera then pushed Professor McGonagall out of the way of the second ball of magic and she took the hit, knocking her to the ground.
