We stand just outside the medical room, gazing through the window as Tony sleeps in the bed, Pepper at his side.

"Bruce gave him a sedative," Rhodes informs us. "He's gonna probably be out for the rest of the day."

"You guys take care of him," Danvers orders. "And I'll bring him an Xorrian Elixir when I come back."

"Where are you going?" Natasha asks.

"To kill Thanos," Danvers states, turning on her heel and storming from the room.

Steve, Natasha and I share a look before following her.

"Hey, you know, we usually work as a team here," Natasha says, stopping Danvers in her tracks. "And, between you and I, morale's a little fragile."

"We realize up there is more your territory," Steve reasons. "But this it our fight too."

"Do you even know where he is?" I ask her.

"I know people who might," Danvers answers.

Nebula, the blue woman, appears in the doorway behind Danvers. "Don't bother. I can tell you where Thanos is."

Nebula leads us into the briefing room, where we're joined by the Banner, Rhodes, Rocket and Thor, who's still sitting on the bench against the wall.

"Thanos spent a long time trying to perfect me," Nebula explains, beginning her story. "And when he worked, he talked about his great plan. Even disassembled, I wanted to please him. I'd ask 'where would we go once his plan was complete?' His answer was always the same, 'To the Garden.'"

"That's cute," Rhodes remarks. "Thanos has a retirement plan."

"So where is he?" Steve asks.

Rocket steps up to the hologram above the table. "When Thanos snapped his fingers, Earth became ground zero for a power surge of ridiculously cosmic proportions. No one's ever seen anything like it... Until two days ago." Rocket pulls up a planet on the hologram, showing us a shockwave visibly traversing the surface. "On this planet."

"Thanos is there," Nebula confirms.

"He used the Stones again," Natasha realizes.

"Hey, hey, hey," Banner interrupts. "We'd be going in short-handed, you know."

"Look, he's still got the Stone, so..." Rhodes starts.

"So, let's get him..." Danvers states, continuing his thought. "Use them to bring everyone back."

"Just like that?" Rhodes asks.

"Yeah, just like that," Steve agrees.

"Even if there's a small chance that we can undo this..." Natasha reasons. "I mean, we owe it to everyone who's not in this room to try."

"I'm in," I state. Steve and Natasha glance at me, and I give them a small smile, nodding my head in confirmation.

"If we do this, how do we know it's gonna end any differently than it did before?" Banner questions.

Danvers turns to him. "Because before, you didn't have me."

"Hey, new girl, everyone here is about that superhero life," Rhodes says. "And if you don't mind my asking, where the hell have you been all this time?"

"There are a lot of other planets in the universe," Danvers reminds him before turning to the rest of us. "And unfortunately, they didn't have you guys."

"She has a point," I say, glancing at Rhodes. He shrugs in agreement.

Behind us, Thor finally stands from his bench and approaches Danvers, coming to a stop right in front of her. Thor lifts his arm, and Danvers doesn't flinch as Thor's axe, Stormbreaker, flies past her head and into Thor's waiting hand. She slyly smiles up at the God of Thunder.

Thor returns her smile before turning to the group. "I like this one."

Steve glances around the room at our team, his gaze finally landing on me. "Let's go get this son of a bitch."
