The rest of the school day went by rather slowly. Sasuke tapped his pencil on his desk as the teacher talked about history. His eyes seemed to be directed at the teacher, but they were directed at Naruto, who was busy sleeping on his desk. Sasuke could hear his light snores and watched him.

Naruto heard a thud, and his head flew off of his desk. He looked up to find an angry teacher about to go off on him. He rolled his eyes as the teacher lectured him for 10 minutes before returning to the lesson. Naruto didn't usually sleep in class; he only did so when he was tired, which was almost all the time.

Sasuke kept his attention focused on Naruto as he tried to focus on the lesson but failed. Naruto doesn't have the longest attention span. Sasuke watched as he twirled his pencil in between his fingers and let his eyes drift around the room.

The bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, and the teacher yelled over the sound of talking students and the scraping of chairs on the floor. Naruto darted out of the room so he could get to the café. Sasuke took his time leaving.

Sasuke arrived at the café and saw Naruto talking to a customer. He was going to sit himself in his usual spot, but it was filled by a boy wearing their school uniform, and Sasuke had never seen him before. He must have been in another class. Sasuke sat down in the booth next to it and waited for Naruto to walk over.

He was listening to the conversation that the two were having.

"Hey, what can I get for you today?"

"Your number," the guy replied.

"Umm, I mean to drink," Naruto replied uncomfortably.

He ordered his drink, and Naruto walked away quickly. Sasuke was slightly angry about the stranger's question, but he brushed it off. He had confidence that Naruto wouldn't give it to him. Next, Naruto walked over to Sasuke to take his order. Sasuke ordered, and Naruto went to submit the orders.

Naruto came back and delivered Sasuke's drink, then the other boys. He stopped Naruto and asked him to sit down; obviously, Naruto didn't want to, but the boy kept pushing. Naruto just wanted him to leave him alone. Naruto was forced to sit down and talk with him. Sasuke listened to what they were saying.

"There are other customers," said Naruto, placing his hands on the table to stand up and leave.

"Wait, talk with me a bit," said the other boy, placing his hand on Naruto's.

Naruto slowly sat back down and removed his hand from the table. Sasuke did not like the conversation they were having, but he couldn't interfere.

"My name is Sai, and I am in class 3-B," he introduced himself.

"Naruto."

"What time does your shift end? Would you like to take a walk with me?"

"No, thank you," Naruto said.

"Can I at least have your number?"

"No," Naruto replied firmly before standing up and walking back to the counter.

Sai was disappointed, but he wouldn't give up just yet. He left some money on the table and left the cafe angrily. Sasuke smiled satisfactorily; he knew that Naruto would refuse him. There was also another thing that crossed his mind. What if Naruto refused him because he wasn't into guys?

Sasuke finished his coffee and left the cafe to go home.
