Chapter 21

"Sasuke, we should probably get up now," Naruto said.

"5 more minutes," Sasuke mumbled.

"Sasuke, come on."

"Fine."

The two sat up, and Naruto picked up his phone from the top of the pile of his clothes. He unlocked his phone and saw that he had a ton of notifications. He opened his messages; he had tons of texts from people asking if he saw what was online. Naruto was confused, so he opened up all of the social media apps he had and saw that they were littered with pictures of him and Sasuke on their dates and kissing. It was all posted just that morning.

"Sasuke, I think you should look at this."

"What?"

Sasuke looked over Naruto's shoulder at all of the posts and articles about them. They were in the headlines of every major news article.

Sasuke Uchiha from the famous band Taka has a boyfriend.


Sasuke Uchiha is dating another boy while on hiatus.


Sasuke Uchiha's boyfriend?

The headlines went on and on; it was like they never ended.

"Holy shit," Sasuke muttered.

Suigetsu peeked his head in the room and pointed to his phone. Did you guys hear the news?"

I just saw it," Naruto said.

"You could have been a little more careful," Suigetsu said, walking down the hallway.

"I don't understand," Naruto said. The only people who could have gotten these photos are...

He stopped. Naruto realized that one of his friends had betrayed his trust. He couldn't believe it; none of his friends would have done that, or so he thought. Naruto was stunned—too stunned to speak. He had no words to say.

"I think I am going to go home," Naruto said, standing up.

He picked up his things and walked out of the room. He walked down the hallway towards the front door.

"Wait, Naruto, let's talk about it," Sasuke said, grabbing his arm.

"I think we should take a break from seeing each other; I just need some time to myself," Naruto said.

He shook his arm out of Sasuke's grip and opened the door. Standing there with their cameras, reporters were yelling over each other and asking tons of questions.

"Are you and Sasuke dating?"

"What's your name?"

"What is the status of your relationship?"

"Excuse me," Naruto said, shoving through the crowd of reporters.

Some followed him; others went back to the door to ask Sasuke questions. The reporters followed me and kept bombarding him with questions, not leaving him alone. Naruto didn't want them to find out where he lived. He turned around and faced all of them.

"LEAVE ME ALONE," Naruto yelled at them.

They all paused, clicking their cameras and asking questions, before they resumed again.

"Please tell us about your relationship with Sasuke Uchiha.

"Give us details and information."

Naruto let out an angry scream before he began to run, and he didn't stop. He ran past his apartment building until he saw that the reporters had given up following him. He went around the backway to his apartment and finally got there with someone following him. Naruto entered his living room and threw himself on the couch. Naruto sighed deeply and rested his eyes shut. He was worried this would happen, and it did.
