Chapter 28

The two woke up in the late afternoon. Naruto woke up first and got up to go and quickly shower. While Naruto was rinsing the soap off his body, he heard the shower door open, and Sasuke stepped in.

"What are you doing? Naruto asked, taking a step away.

"Showering and saving water at the same time," Sasuke smirked.

Naruto huffed and reached for the shampoo, but Sasuke took it from him and opened the bottle, putting some on his hand.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

"Relax."

Sasuke started massaging the shampoo into Naruto's scalp, which did feel very relaxing mixed with the hot water. Then Sasuke rinsed all the soap out of Naruto's hair, and they finished showering.

Sasuke borrowed a towel to wrap around his waist and went back into Naruto's room to put on his clothes. Naruto brushed his teeth before putting on a fresh t-shirt and pair of sweatpants. Sasuke put his pants back on, and he and Naruto went into the kitchen to make breakfast.

"Do you have eggs? Sasuke asked.

Naruto nodded and took a seat at the table. He winced a bit at the pain. He watched as shirtless Sasuke made him breakfast, cracking the eggs on the pan, pouring a bit of milk in, and scrambling them. Naruto was staring at Sasuke so long that he didn't notice that there was a plate of eggs in front of him.

"Like what you see?" Sasuke smirked.

Naruto looked down and began eating his eggs, basically swallowing them whole.

"Chew a bit so you don't choke," Sasuke said.

Naruto tossed his plate in the sink and sat back down at the table, watching Sasuke finish up his breakfast. He placed his plate in the sink along with Naruto's and began washing them.

"You don't have to do that," Naruto said.

"I want to," Sasuke replied.

"Well, I can take care of myself; thank you very much," Naruto pouted a bit.

Sasuke smiled, finished up with the dishes, and put them away. He looked at the time and decided it was time to head back.

Sasuke and Naruto stood face-to-face, with only the door frame between them. Naruto held the door open with one hand, waiting for Sasuke to say something.

After a couple of minutes, Sasuke finally opened his mouth to speak.

"I hope you make the right decision," Sasuke said.

He leaned in and gave Naruto a kiss. It was sweet with the lingering taste of eggs. Naruto kissed back. The two broke apart, and Sasuke turned and walked away. Naruto shut the door and put his back against it. He slid down into a sitting position, his knees curled to his chest. He ran his hands through his hair and tugged at the roots.

These couple of hours have changed everything for Naruto. Now he was back to square one, not knowing what choice to make or what to do. Sasuke just lost his virginity. Holy shit.

Naruto let out a long sigh and leaned his head back, looking at the ceiling in question. What to do? What to do?
