Before school the next day, Cola knocked on Jesse's door, really needing to talk to him. The truth was, she couldn't get him off of her mind. She knew she had to talk to him just so she could sort out her feelings. She knocked on his door and he opened it, and she saw that he was just in a towel. She pushed past him into the room without saying anything. His eyes widened as he closed the door.

"Cola, what are you doing?" He asked, already scared of how much trouble he could get in because of this.

"Jesse, can we talk?" She asks, fiddling with her hands.

"I'd love to talk with you later, because as you can see I am just in a towel and this is really uncomfortable. So, I'll see you later." He says, about to open the door. She walks over and closes it again, taking a deep breath.

"No, we really need to talk. Like now." Jesse looks at her as if she was crazy.

"W-well, there's nothing to discuss. Except breakfast, which I'm not in the mood for. And you also have school, so shouldn't you be going there now?" He asks, walking away from her to take his clothes out. Cola had a serious look on her face as she raised her brow at him.

"There's a lot to discuss. We could start with that kiss, if you'd like." Jesse looked up at her for a split second before looking away, shaking his head and laughing.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I also insist that you leave right now." Cola begins pacing the room and Jesse gulps, looking at her, clearly uncomfortable.

"Listen, I'm just as confused as you are."

"Nothing happened," He said, his voice now very stern. "There was no kiss. So please, stop." Cola looked at him, seeing that his face had changed from light to now serious.

"Your tongue was in my mouth. You're not being fair. To me, and to yourself." She said, before walking out and slamming the door behind her.

"Okay, I'm not gonna be able to count on the film class for support like I was hoping for, which means we're gonna have to work overtime if we want to meet the festival deadline. We're gonna have to shoot all weekend. Colie, this means no lip about giving Pacey lip." Cola looked up from her spot at the lunch table, she couldn't focus on anything all day after her encounter with Jesse.

"Look, I-i'm reaching a breaking point with this whole kissing thing." She said, looking at Pacey.

"I'm not engorged with this either. It goes both ways." The two best friends look at Dawson, who was thinking.

"Cola, major revelation. I've found a solution that would make you the happiest actress in the world. You know how you die at the end of the movie? How would you like to die sooner, like tomorrow?" Cola tilted her head, leaning on the table.

"What do you mean?"

"Okay, your character, in a surprise attack, is killed violently, but your beautiful, bright cousin from New York arrives just in time to find your mutilated body." Pacey nods along as Joey rolls her eyes at Dawson's obvious crush on Jen.

"Y'know, dude. I think you're onto something here. Cola's dead body seems like a great way to end her character's life." She smacks his arm and he laughs.

"See, this nullifies the kiss issue and puts you behind the camera with me and Joey." Cola nods, not minding any of it.

"Wait, but haven't you already shot a lot with Cola's character?" Jen said, making Joey and Cola raise an eyebrow.

"Yeah, but it's a great idea. It's so unpredictable. The audience would never see it coming. It's like Janet Lee in Psycho." Joey nodded and looked at Pacey to see his reaction.
