AN: I lied last chapter, next chapter mega spice. Otherwise this would have been 7k words long.

Recombinants on the backs of their newfound banshees, fly across the sky of Pandora, taking in the same scenery they had before in a different light. The alien world they had to adapt to in order to survive and accomplish their mission had transformed into something entirely different. They finally saw it for what it was , rather than just another challenge to be conquered. Alive.

Even from their current height as they soared, they could feel the connection to the land beneath them. The heartbeat they shared with their banshee was in tandem with that of the world far below. All connected as one.

And just for those few moments, the mission for which they were created didn't seem all that important, and they let a sense of peace wash over them.

As Ardmore's voice broke the stillness through their communicators, the group collectively grimaced and the moment was gone. The General confirmed their return to Bridgehead and sent instructions to get clearance before entering the city. Because apparently seven ikrans carrying eight Na'vi and one human weren't recognizable enough. The thoughts of oneness and connection to this world didn't return, all were once again refocused on the mission.

All including Ten'etirey.

The Recombinants taming banshees served a dual purpose. It allowed them to ride like Na'vi, as Quaritch mandated in his speech when this whole clusterfuck began. But Ten had hoped the connection would help them see Pandora. She wasn't naive enough to think one act of bonding would fix everything, but it was a step in the right direction. One that would veer them off their current path based on vengeance and retribution.

She was wondering more and more if it was sacrilege to question if Eywa had really considered who she was putting all of this shit on. Yes, she was the adopted daughter of Jake Sully, Toruk Makto. An Eyktenay, a general under her father, but that didn't mean she was prepared for any of this. Killing was easy. Fighting was easy. This was bullshit.

Ten wasn't going to give up on the Trinity, not a chance. She wanted this, wanted them. The thought of bonding with anyone back home made her want to physically cringe. Not with them. She had never known want quite like this before. Ten always did what she thought would make her family proud and somehow that landed her here. Helping the opposite side. Getting attached to them. Planning on mating with two of them. Raw dogging a clusterfuck from the Great Mother herself.

She didn't really know what her plan was. Well, kind of. Obviously, her plan was to follow through with the Trinity and leave the rest of it for future her to deal with. The problem with that plan was that it left the rest for future her to deal with. She had no idea how to prevent any of them from continuing with the mission.

Whether or not she was mated to them, she knew Quaritch wouldn't give up on this mission. He was far too stubborn and spiteful, qualities she also shared with him. Realistically, she was stuck between her mates and her family. What was she supposed to do?

"You've been lost in your head for a while there, Red." Mansk's soft voice gently pulls her out of her head before the argument between the two sides can really get going.

"You sound like my family."

"Sounds like you get stuck in your head a lot." She turns her head in annoyance but it dissipates when it pulls a laugh from him. Relaxed again, she decides to change the subject. While she wanted to talk to Mansk about this... it was also his mission and she wasn't ready to know which side he'd choose.
