Quaritch had hold of Spider as they walked briskly towards the Kestrel. Lyle was right behind Ten, although he didn't have a hold on her.

"Get on the ship, find a seat, and keep out of the way." Spider and Ten boarded the ship, she did so with slight difficulty since her hands were still bound in the outrageously loud orange cuffs. She laughed as he took hold of the mounted gun.

"Sweet." Spider whispered quietly as he looked through the sight.

"Woah, hold on there, hotshot!" Quaritch pushes him away from the gun and forces him to sit. "You listen up. There's a tracker built in that mask. We hit the ground, and you take off, I'll have you back in two minutes, and I will give you an old-school ass-whippin'." Ten did her best to prevent the laugh coming through, ultimately she managed to just smirk.

"Understood?" Spider rolled his eyes and tried to yank out of the Colonel's grasp. "Understood?"

"Yes, sir." He responded sarcastically.

"And you-" Quaritch faced the red-eyed Na'vi, but she didn't let him finish.

"I wouldn't threaten me with an old-school ass-whippin,' you have no idea what I'm into." She glanced over at Spider and watched him hide his face, of course her stubborn ass would say some dumb shit like that. Quaritch shook his head and Lyle laughed.

"Your song chord has a tracker built into one of the beads."

Jesus .

Lyle quickly looked away from her glare. She went from playfully sarcastic into 'congratulations, you have fucked around and found out'.

"You take off and we'll find you just the same, I know damn well you won't leave it behind." He was right, but she was infuriated.

"You defiled one of my beads?" She asked as Quaritch placed the song chord in her hand. Her fingers clenched around the beads. Quaritch watched her jaw tighten as she realized exactly which bead they violated. Arguably the most important one, the larger orange and red orb, signifying when she bonded with her ikran.

"Of course you assholes pick the most important one. Could you not have just, I don't know implanted one?" Although still angry, she deflated and nodded. Nothing she could do about it now.

The colonel removed the cuffs, they weren't necessary. He knew very well she wasn't going anywhere, running away wasn't exactly in character for her. At this point, he was wholly convinced her personality was the exact same and he was going to keep going off of that assumption. The Kestrel took off and she took the time to pull her tswin forward, unbraiding part of it and rebraiding it to include her defiled song chord.

Spider and Ten jumped up on a fallen tree as Quaritch talked to the Recoms. No more cuffs for her, surprisingly. At this point she was just like Spider, riding along, watching them fumble around in bodies they weren't accustomed to, in a world they didn't understand.

At least there was some enjoyment to be found.

She wondered if Spider would be up for some bets. A quick glance his way and from that look? Yeah, he was game. Now, what to bet on?

"Alright listen up, Jake Sully has gone to ground. Don't matter, no matter wherever he is, we'll find him, and his batshit crazy wife too." The Recoms laughed lightly, and Ten tried but failed to not laugh at that, no one could deny how accurate that statement was. Spider shoved her with a dirty look.

"Show me the lie, it's accurate. Mom's kinda crazy."

"To do so, we go Na'vi, full tilt all the way. That means we eat Na'vi, we ride Na'vi, think Na'vi. And that starts with speaking the language. " Spider chuckled at his very broken attempt to speak the language and the Recoms turned to face him.
