Another hour or so of enjoying each other's company and Mansk took them back to the camp. Ten wasn't kidding when she said she was exhausted. He realized just how tired she was when she didn't object to him carrying her. Oh... no she was just fully out; looks like it caught up to her. Once they rejoined the others, he saw Lyle fast asleep on his sleeping mat.

"She finally pass out?" Z-dog asked, amused when she saw Mansk cradling her. "Lyle passed out a few minutes ago, figured she was close behind."

Internally, Mansk was struggling to let go of her, but he had to. Neither of them were ready to deal with whatever was going to happen when the others found out, and they still needed to actually talk to Quaritch. He sat down next to his equipment after she was situated and did his best to repress the fond smile from what just transpired.

Never. He never thought this would be possible.

This is beyond anything Mansk could have imagined. He never thought she'd be in his arms, he gave up on that thought. Did he still want it? Of course, but he was devoted to her and to him and up to this point, refused to interfere. Somehow, that devotion led him to what just happened. Had he not been so fucking satisfied and sated, he may not have believed it actually happened.

Mansk certainly didn't set out to have anything like that happen when they went off on their own. All he wanted was to hold her in his arms and forget about the Tsahik who towered over her with a blade in his hand. The sensation of her skin against his chipped away at the edges of that image. It wasn't gone, but he was able to accept that she was safe and that creepy fuck was dead. She was safe, and his.

After everything that happened over the course of the past few days, Ten'etirey was done walking through the jungle. It was time to get the Recombinants banshees.

So what if they were basically going against the very strict right of passage into adulthood set by the Omaticaya? No big deal; she was only actively helping enemies of her people learn how to fly fucking banshees...

That later problem was going to bite her in the ass, she knew it.

But... that seemed like something future her could handle.

Hopefully?

She was still trying to deal with the whole Trinity thing. It was an honor to be chosen by Eywa, hand picked to be a part of one of the most sacred gifts she could offer. But she still had no clue how to actually talk to Quaritch about it, and Mansk had to make his claim first. That much was clear. His urge to claim her was strong , and the need to be claimed was beginning to burn within her.

To say she was full sending this, would be an understatement. But she couldn't help how drawn she was to them, all of them. Home. Being with them felt like home. A sense of belonging she'd never experienced before. So what if they were with the RDA? It obviously wasn't a deal breaker for Eywa or she wouldn't have chosen them.

Words.

Ten'etirey still wanted to have words with Eywa about this. The idea that this entire shituation was part of her plan was frustrating.

Here's your Trinity.

Yes they're murderers.

Yes they are also on a mission to execute your entire family.

Also yes, they're out to take over our world.

Nope, zero guidance. Raw dog it.
