I DMed Britt right after my second class. I told her that I forgot about something that I have planned with Will a while back.

Lame excuse, I know. But that's the best I can do.

I'm sure she has internet connection with her, too. Her pocket is far thicker with money than mine. She can afford unlimited data connection on her phone if she wants to.

I hope she's okay with it, though. I mean, for sure a girl like her, raised with luxe and grew up getting what she wants, is not used to rejection. But I think it's not even a big deal for her since I am no one but a so-so girl named Laine.

Who just happens to have a boyfriend from the boyband IM5 but that's not the point here so yeah.

So, right now, I'm about to meet up with Cassidy and Tique because it's lunch time, and I wanna get something to eat.

I grabbed my things for my next class from my locker. When I closed it, Britt was standing there and she waved at me. I waved back.

Wow, this is the first time that we're gonna be talking with each other.

"Hi, Laine!" She smiled at me widely.

"H-hi, Britt. I'm so sorry I can't go with you later." I said.

"Oh, it's okay. Totally fine with me," still with her smile on, she leaned closer to my ear, her long blonde curls brushing against my arm. "But you need to break up with him." She whispered.

I was suddenly flabbergasted at what she said. "What?" That was all I could say.

"Break up with Will. Leave him alone. He's not supposed to be with you anyway." She went back to her original posture, still smiling sweetly at me.

I don't understand.

"I can't do that, Britt. I'm sorry." I was about to walk out but she grabbed my arm and stared directly at me.

"You know I'm Perez Hilton's pretty little niece, don't you? You don't know what I can do to you." She whispered again, "Or to IM5."

She let me go and smiled sweetly, yet again. "Think about it, Laine. You suffer, or all six of you. Oh wait," she fluttered her eyelashes like she had the most brilliant thought in the world. "How's your best friend Cassidy? And the new girl Fantastique? Hmm? I bet they would love to have their lives ruined just because of some girl who won't leave her sluttishness behind."

"Hey, don't involve my friends in this," I said in defense, tears starting to fall from my eyes.

"Well then, leave the boy alone. He doesn't need you." She tapped me on the shoulder. "Make your choice, pretty girl. It's either you," she showed off her famous sweet smile again, "Or you and your friends. Bye!" She walked past me while I just remained standing right there, staring at her disappearing figure.

What the hell did just happen?

"Hey where have you been? We were legit looking for you!" Someone spoke behind me.

My instinct was to turn around and I regretted doing it as soon as I saw who it was.

"Why are you crying, you woman? Didn't Will tell you to not let anything get to your head? What, did some stupid girl talk to you? Do you know who she is? Tell me and we'll fight back!" Cassidy exclaimed.

"No, I uh..." I wiped the tears that were rolling down my cheeks, "It's nothing, really."

"What is this about? What going on?" Tique asked.

I tried my best to show them a wide smile, "Nothing's going on, I s--"

"Well then tell us why you're crying." Cassidy raised her eyebrows at me.
