While reading another fanfic, I saw an author's note saying she started writing a story entitled "Get To Know You". Just so you know guys, I have started writing this book long before I knew about the other fanfic with the same title as this story. They're not the same, and they have a totally different plot. I think it's a Cole fanfic, not sure tho.
Just cleared things up! Okay let's proceed to the story!

Laine's POV
I went home immediately after I saw Will. It's a really good thing the car is readily available and I'm alone in the house right now.
I slammed the front door and slid my back down and sat on the floor. I don't want that awkwardness we have now but I just can't help it!
After what happened last night everything just escalated fast! I know I should be happy or something cause you know he kissed me but ARGH!
I went to the kitchen to look for some food for breakfast cause literally, I'm starving! I saw a note on the fridge.
Laine,
I'm sorry I have to leave early, Your aunt Kristy called and your cousin is now in the airport. I'll be fetching her then I'll give her a quick tour. It might take hours. I might be home at 11 am. Breakfast is at the fridge including some snacks!
PS. don't blow the house up

I just smiled as I shook my head I think this is the longest note mom left. Cousin? Aunt Kristy? Aunt Kristy... Aunt Kristy...
I kept repeating her name in my mind as I open the fridge. Pancakes. Wait what?! MOM PUT THE PANCAKES ON THE FRIDGE?! I sighed. I got the plate and touched the pancakes. Yay! Still not that cold.
I closed the fridge and OH! Aunt Kristy, I remember her now! She's the one whom I see every Christmas. Thinking more about her she did have a daughter.
From what I can remember, she (my cousin) is older than me. What is her name again? Agness? Airish? Andrea? Adelaine? Meh.
I went to my room with a whole rolled pancake stuffed in my mouth and started open some books. Oh geez Chemistry assignment!
*bzzzzzzzzzt*
It's Dana. I answered it.
"What? I'm busy." I said fast
"Oh, I know you're not busy. C'mon I need to say something."
"No, I'm really busy I'm doing the Chemistry homework. Would you mind coming over I might use some help."
"Wait, you're not mad?"
"Why would I be mad?"
"Because of what happened earlier?"
"Because you made me drive from the edge of LA at 6 in the morning?"
"No, because I hid behind Will."
"You know what, I was starting to forget that but then here you are reminding me about it. Don't worry, I'm not mad."
"Really?! Geez! I was worried for nothing!"
I chuckled. "O-kay so can you come here?" I asked.
"Why don't you come here, you're the one that needs something." He teased.
"Dana..." I said impatiently.
"Okay okay, give me 30 minutes," He said then hung up.
Dana's POV
"Okay okay, give me 30 minutes." I said then I hanged up. This will be fun! I went downstairs to the boys playing COD. "Guys, we're going somewhere and we need Will to be there." I said excitedly.
"Sorry, I can't. I have uhm an appointment," Gabe said.
"It won't take long." I said. "Not long?" he asked.
"Not long. After Laine sees all of us, you can say you need to go." I said. He nodded. We told Will that we need to go see Jill in a restaurant.
Cole drove the car as we headed to Laine's place and I took shotgun. On the way, what Will did was to whine over and over again.
"Guys, I wanna be alone right now!"
"Not 'til you tell us what happened last night." Cole said, glancing at him then placing his sight back on the road.
Well, that made him shut up.
I pressed the doorbell but nobody answered. Luckily, I brought my spare key she gave me long time ago.
We entered the house. "Laine! Laine we're here!" I shouted.
No response.
I went up her room and saw her curling on her bed with a pi-- no. It's not a pillow... It's a Chemistry book. I smiled at the sight.
I just left her there. I went down stairs and headed to the kitchen. "Elsa, I'm going to open your fridge." I said silently. I saw Elsa's note to Laine.
[MINUTES LATER]
"Laine... Laine..." I said as I shake her shoulders lightly.
"Dana.. How long have you been here?" She asked while rubbing her eyes.
"Just a couple of minutes" I said. She nodded.
I suggested to just do the stuffs at the living room. I went down first. Cole and Gabe were busy with their phones, Dalton was looking around the house and Will is just sitting awkwardly, sight glued on the floor.
"Chill bro! Nothing will eat you here," I said, walking closer to Will. "This is you're idea, isn't it?" He said, obviously annoyed.
"No, it's Laine's idea."
"Really?" He said. "She needed some help in her Chemistry. It would be better if we ask for help from our seniors, right?" I continued.
"So Gabe watcha doin'?" Dalton said loud enough to get our attention.
"I'm texting Alex," he said.
"Alex who?" Dalton asked.
"His girlfriend." I said.
"She said she's now in LA... She's just hanging out with her aunt." Gabe said.
Laine's footsteps went down and we saw her wide eyed at the sight of Will.
"So! Let's start the tutorial!" I said almost shouting.
