"Laine... I'm breaking up with you."

His voice echoed through the room, as he continued to stare on the floor.

Is he really doing this? One second, we get together. Two seconds, Britt comes in. Three seconds, Will does everything and goes against everyone to defend me. Four seconds he's being the cheesy and loving boyfriend you'll wish to have, and five seconds, he's breaking up with me? All in five seconds?

There's this big lump in my throat already. One wrong move and I'll let it take over.

"C'mon, Laine... Say something, please?" He said, almost begging for words from me.

That's it. His voice broke my guard. Now tearsdrops are legit rolling down my cheeks.

He'll break up with me all of a sudden and now he's expecting me to actually say something?

"I knew I shouldn't have agreed with this... Laine, I'm sor--"

He attempted to hug me but I stepped back. "No... You want us to break up, right?"

"No no, wait-- GUYS LET'S STOP THIS, IT'S GETTING SERIOUS!" He literally screamed. I was startled, which made me cry even more.

The door swung wide open and the four boys went in, laughing their asses off. Well, only Dana, Cole and Dalton. Gabe just stood by the doorway, shaking his head.

"I'm so sorry, Laine. I really didn't want to do this in the first place, I'm so sorry."

Will pulled me, and enveloped me in a tight bear hug. "What's happening?" I sobbed in his chest.

"Advanced happy birthday, Laine!" I heard Dana say while holding his laughs.

I pushed Will away from me so I could look at the four other boys. "What are you doing?" I wiped my tears with my hands.

Cole sighed, "You'll turn 17 in a week, right? It's a prank, Laine... As if Will would want to break up with you!"

"You did this?" I started to take deep breaths, as more tears fell from my eyes.

"I'm sorry, Laine. Please stop crying." Will tried wiping my tears but I swatted his hand away. "And you were with them? This was not a good joke!"

I ran out of the room and went back to the theater. Good thing there are still a lot of people. I ran back to where we left Cass and Tique, good thing they're still there.

"Hey, what happened to y--" Cassidy stepped back when I ran to her and hugged her. I sobbed against her shoulder as she hugged me back.

"What happened? Who did this to you?" Tique asked, stroking my back.

"They-- They played a joke on me. Will said he's breaking up with me," I said in between sobs.

"What?! They did that? How?" Cassidy asked. She led me to a chair and I told them about what just happened.

"I knew I shouldn't have agreed with that! Look at what happened!"

We ran through the halls, trying to catch up with Laine. "Hey bro, calm down! She's probably with Cassidy and Tique," Dalton held me by the arm, causing me to stop running.
