Chapter 27-Hidden Secrets

            After a couple seconds everyone sat down. Seiju sat beside Kurie on one couch and the others sat beside each other on the other couch.

"So Seiju how did you meet the babe*clears throat* I mean nice young lady?" Gizu asked,

"Well first, I left the house to go buy some a bento at the local shop and I bumped into her there. She needed help finding a certain bottled water brand or so and I helped her and after a bit conversation we became friends, ain't that right Kurie-chan,"

 Seiju said turning to Kurie eyes closed and mouth wide open, but in Kurie's mind she thought,

"that's the quickest I have ever seen anyone come up with lie," then she said, "ye...yeah, that's exactly what happened..."

Gizu and Hido nodded but Kazumi wasn't buying it,

"went to buy a bento? Then where's the bento box? Did you throw it out? Or rather where's the receipt?" Kazumi asked in suspicion. Kurie was stunned, she knew she and Seiju would get caught but,

"Oh the receipt, I left that in my room," Seiju said as Kurie turned to him and said in her mind,"wait what? You have a receipt??" Seiju then ran to his room and brought a clear receipt, with matching dates and everything.

"ok, I believe you then," Kazumi said as Kurie continued to stare at Seiju in disbelief. After about 2 hours of conversation Kazumi, Hido and Gizu had to leave, which left Seiju and Kurie alone again. Kurie felt more comfortable with the others there, but when being left alone with Seiju she thought things would get awkward, so she asked some questions,

"how did you make up that lie and how in the world did you get a matching receipt??" she asked as Seiju leaned back in the couch and said,

"the lie was easy, however I had to use some black magic to forge that receipt, it was created quicker than expected too,"

"wow that was clever of you...By the way, I didn't expect Kazumi to be one of your visiting friends," Kurie said,

"yeah," Seiju nonchalantly replied,

"she's really pretty...way prettier than me," Kurie said putting her hand on her chest while looking to the ground as Seiju interjected,

"I concur. You have natural cuteness while she has natural beauty. All in all there both on the same level to me."

His words made her entire face become red and it was like steam was coming out of her ears,

 "sorry if that's embarrassing to you, I only speak my mind," Seiju replied calming her down. But on another perspective, on her way home, Kazumi was suspicious about Kurie, she knows both Seiju and Kurie were hiding something. Then...she got a phone call, it was her 'protector' calling to tell her that his guys need some 'assistance' from her at the 'regular spot'.  Kazumi replied happily saying she would be there, but her heart sung another tune. While with Seiju and Kurie, Kurie would begin to tell Seiju a little secret about Kazumi, and she couldn't have told him and any better time.
