Chapter 51 - Angel

○○○○A Few Months Later○○○○

I'm nervously waiting for Alice and Axel at the cafe under the gym. I wanted to tell them about the baby, but I just kept postponing it, until now. Wade had to make me do it. He was in the parking lot waiting for me.

They walked in looking happy to see me. "What are ordering?", Alice asked making me smile. "Uh, before you do, I uh... I wanted to tell you something", I said nervously as they looked at me with serious expressions.

I didn't trust my mouth so I stood up and exposed my seven-month-old bum. "Oh my god!", Alice shouted then pulled me in a hug. I hugged her back and when we separated her hand fell on my swollen belly and got a kick. "Did it just?", she asked turning to her Dad who had tears in his eyes. He stood up and pulled me in a hug. 

"Congratulations", he said making me wipe his tears away. "Thank you Axel", i said as we sat. "I thought you looked different because of the hair", Alice joked. I rolled my eyes at her and smiled. "So where is he?", Axel asked with a knowing smile. It surprised me.

"He's in the parking lot waiting for me", I said. "Might as well call him. We're not letting you leave until you eat a cheeseburger", he said and I nod.

Wade walked in looking sexy as if I didn't see him get dressed. He shook Axel's hand and gave Alice a side hug. "What's good here?", he asked sitting next to me. "Cheeseburger", Alice and I said at the same time.

"Waoh! That good? Ok, let's see what the fuss is about", he said with a laugh. We ordered food and Alice and Axel were shocked when Wade ordered three burgers and finished them in record time. "You're something else Uncle Wade", Alice said making me smile.

"I feel judged right now, what about you and that mega glass of coke huh?", he tease making her laugh. My eyes fell on Axel and I knew this whole thing was hurting him. When our eyes met I smiled at him, he did the same.

We tried being friends but the connection was just too strong so we settled with talking when we needed to and that was if Alice wanted to come to my place for a sleepover or he wanted some teenage advice about Alice or when she fought with her Mum and he needed me to intervene because Rachel was terrified of the serious me.

He shouldn't have confessed to me that he still had feelings for me and did not want me at the same time. It's the mixed signals that made me lose interest. 

Wade knows what he wants and he trusts me and never does or say things that makes me doubt the trust he has in me. He's just simply the complete opposite of Axel.

"Thanks for dinner guys. That's the best cheeseburger I've ever had", Wade said as we were leaving. "Told ya!", Alice said giving him a high five and then a hug. "Thanks, man", he told Axel as well. I hugged them both then we went to our car. 

"Did you tell them we're having twins?", he asked as we left the lot. "Noup! After the way they reacted, I think that was enough for today" I said making him laugh. He placed his hand on mine as we drove to his house.

"I feel so sleepy", I said the moment we walked into the house making him smile and carry me to the bedroom like I didn't have babies in me. He gave me a foot massage and I was out like a light.

I woke up to someone screaming my name making me furrow my brows. I was alone in bed so no one to bully into making whoever ruined my morning shut up. I brushed my teeth and then went to the kitchen. I found Mum and Dad having breakfast with one of the maids taking their bags upstairs.

"Oh my! Look at you", Mum said with a huge smile. "You're glowing", Dad said standing up and pulling me in a hug. I hugged him back. I missed them.

I started crying making Mum come to me in a hurry. "Why are you crying, my dear? Are you in pain?", she asked inspecting me. "It's the hormones", Wade said putting my plate on the table and making Mum relax. We sat and ate breakfast. I kept on looking at Wade until he asked our parents to excuse us.

He attacked my lips the moment we got to the bedroom. He removed my clothes and his and placed me on the bed. "Sideways?", he asked and I nod. He turned me to the side placing a pillow under my belly and started kissing me while lifting one leg until he was able to enter me.

It was slow and sensual just how I liked it. I was about to reach my orgasm when Mum barged into our room. "Oh, my lord! Wrong room! I didn't see anything", she shouted while running out of the room. "I better go show her their room", Wade suggested and tried to pull out.

"If you leave me like this is wear I'm gonna chop your balls out", i barked making him chuckle. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean that", I said nervously, I can't believe I've turned into a horny pregnant woman. He kissed my forehead then started moving again and this time I reached my high with a moan that could be heard for miles.

He kissed me then got dressed and went to see if my parents settled ok. I fell asleep the moment he walked out of the room.

"Angel wake up. I need you to escort me somewhere", Wade woke me up and I saw it was past two in the afternoon. That was a much-needed sleep. I woke up and he helped me get dressed then put my sandals on. We went to our favourite beach hotel and I was shocked that we walked into my baby shower.

"Surprise!", they shouted making me do a happy dance. "I knew you would do this. You're awesome guys, I love you", I shouted making them laugh. Everyone was there except for Axel, I expected as much.

"When did you guys do this? Oh my... that's why Mum and Dad are here... Wade!", I whined with tears in my eyes making him laugh.

"To be honest, I just paid and didn't ask any questions so I think you should blame Iris and Lily...oh and Emily", he said with his hands up in surrender.

I turned to see my friends wearing the same dress code of baby pink and blue unlike everyone else in the room. "I love you guys", I said in the middle of sobbing as they pulled me into a group hug.

Axel's an amazing man and I'm sure he'll find the one that he will feel comfortable with. The one he will learn to trust just like Wade does with me.

I will treasure what we had forever, he gave me an extended family that loves me and is always there for me. Rachel, Max, and Alice. I gave him all my love but sometimes, loving someone with all your heart is not enough. Sometimes, we need more than love to make things work.
