My uncle is the one person everyone is scared of and I don't blame them, since he is the ruler of hell and can kill anyone with just one stare.

I walked to my locker and went in (yes in) and patiently waited for the locker to bring me down one floor. Finally, I came out and emerged in a red hallway that was eerily quiet with a small demon sitting in a desk in the middle of the room. She had her red hair spiked up high matching with her killing eyes.

When she saw me she gave me a nod and let me move along to the elevator that awaited me. I went in to be lowered farther down (so practical) to see the ruler of hell. Finally down I walked to the tall room slowly emerging in the total darkness. He always said the dark is the thing we need. Hearing his booming voice I followed making my steps light.

"Ayla, how nice to see you again," he smiled darkly. His black cape was wrapped around his body not making anything but his violet eyes visible. He sat on his red throne looking down at me like all royals should. The room was huge so when anyone spoke there was an echo for a minute.

"Hello uncle." I bowed softly. Clearly amused he laughed loudly. When I finally looked up I saw Austin close to his father giving me a real warm smile. He's my friend and I won't ever deny it. "Hello Austin."

"Milady." He bowed teasingly. I smiled trying not to laugh but Lucifer was angered. I suddenly took a stone face in form.

"Son you don't say that." He growled but Austin barely even flinched. Austin was never scared and neither was I, but I had to show I was for Lucifer's sake. So I gave a stunned look and bowed my head.

"Ayla look at me." I slowly looked up but only stopping at his chest. If anyone ever looks him straight in the eye he can command you to do anything he pleases and you will want to do it.

"Yes uncle?" he looked at me intently giving a smile then slowly leaned forward enough for me to see his violet eyes clearly.

"I have a job for you." He said it so calmly it was as if asking a kid to eat candy. My reaction was of course different as I leaned farther away from his presence. Only full demons have jobs so having him say this to me was not what I expected at all. He saw in my eyes I didn't believe so he continued.

"You, Austin, Lily, and Luna are to go on this mission for me. To earth."

"WHAT?!?" I was beyond shocked and could see Austin didn't see this coming either. Lucifer didn't react at my voice but was merely amused. I was torn between shock and disbelief to even begin to think about what he wants from me. Austin although was brave enough to ask the exact thing I was wondering in my mind.

"Father what will be our mission?" he was more curious then shock unlike me. Lucifer was just staring at me then waved Austin to leave. Austin gave me a nod as a goodbye and left slowly shutting the door on his way. Lucifer sat back down never letting his gaze leave mine.

"This is more than a mission my dear Ayla. It's a choice only you can make. Since your mother has left unwillingly to heaven you now can choose which life you want to be in. Luna wants to go to see Earth so she may go for help to see her future, same with Austin. As with Lily it is so that her revenge to kill her parents doesn't happen."

He spoke all the while keeping a calm face. I didn't think I would have a choice at all. My mom barely did and half my life I have been here. Luna and Austin having a future in Earth did surprise me as with Lily's revenge. How has he known this? This must be an illusion he has done to me.

"How do you know this? And if I have a choice why is it happening now?" I may not believe but I still want to know how and why he is telling me this now.

"I know many things Ayla and because you had to become of age to know." He was losing me now from all this nonsense. "Also, you must do a job for me." His eyes burned with fire and desire.

"What is it?" I never said I would do anything but now that we are here I might as well see what he has to say.

"The job is you must bring me the human called Matt. He is part demon and I must see him and his powers." That was also a shock because never before did we ever want to see a human or a half demon. He gave the nod to know if I accept. My mind was still blurry not knowing what to say but I knew what to do. I chose my words carefully, but before I could change my mind I said quickly,

"I accept." After that he let me go so I slowly got up to leave, still wondering what I got myself into.

"Oh and one more thing," he waited until I turned to him to continue. His eyes looked sympathetic before then switching to stone.

"Trust no one."
