Chapter 14

Part: 1

I walked inside slowly, hoping to not wake up Mya with my noise. When I finally turned around I saw her sitting on her bed, looking at me with a wide grin. I groaned and sat down ready for the "talk."

"So tell me Ayla, what happened?!"

Her face turned bright red as she bounced up and down waiting for my answer.

I gave a small smile to how stupid she looked right now. I gave a sigh and leaned back.

"Mya, nothing really happened. We hung out, I met his family, and we...all we did was held hands and that's it."

I couldn't help smiling at the end and I knew she noticed it too.

"Aw! That's adorable. We should sleep though, it's late."

I laughed at her and fell asleep too, thinking about tonight.

"AYLA get your ass up!"

"Is she dead?"

"I am so killing her if she isn't."

I groaned as I woke up with a bunch of people sitting on my bed looking at me. "Wha..?"

"She's awake!" Sighed Lily.

"Finally, Ayla wake up we really need your help," Luna said with fear in her voice.

When I heard that I shot right up with Autumn, Lily, Brandon, Luna, Austin, and Scott by my side.

"What's going on? Why is everyone looking at me like this?"

No one spoke but I saw Luna tearing up and no one could say anything. Finally, Scott came close to me putting his cold hand on mine and looked at my eyes.

"Mya's gone."

"What?!? No no she can't be gone, she was here last night! I saw her!"

Everyone left to have me and Scott be alone to talk about it, they were worried too.

He shook his head," She was taken during the middle of the night Ayla, We have no idea where she is and we can't find her anywhere." He looked down with a sad expression.

Everyone loved Mya, she was always the one who could make anyone happy or cheerful. I felt a tear escape my eyes and I laid back down in agony.

"I just saw here when I got back though, how could this happen?"

Scott looked at me with a sad expression, " Chase and Jake are gone too Ayla, I think they had something to do with it." 

My heart broke, how would Jake do this? Why would he ever want to be this evil?

That's when I figured it out.

"Dark angel," I whispered.

Scott looked at me," What?"

"Jake and Chase, they aren't angels they are dark angels, that's why they are down here and have a hold to angel power. Why I couldn't use my Gift." I couldn't believe I have been so stupid.

"What does this have to do with anything?" He looked at me oddly.

I thought about it more and more. Why would they take Mya? She is my best friend and she never has done anything to anyone. My eyes widened and I looked at Scott.

"They don't want Mya, she's bait. That's why Jake tried to get me alone, why they were nice to us. They wanted me and they know I'd do anything to save her."

Something was missing though, I mean Jake and Chase don't even know anything about Mya or where our dorm even is. Someone had to give them information to find her.

Scott looked at me and knew what I was missing. He took my hand and his other, under my chin to have me look at his eyes, to look at him as he spoke.

"Karoline's gone too."
