Chapter 19

*Scotts P.O.V.*

I paced back and forth trying to get my mom to answer her damn phone. I said goodbye to Ayla but I wish I never did, I can't just let her leave like that. My mind was numb with so much thought.

"Hello?" I heard a soft voice answer from the other line. I sighed finally in relief.

"Mom, I need your help with something. Well actually, I need everyones help," I tried to talk fast to be able to get to Aylas side in time. I could feel the concern from my mom on the other side.

"Who hurt my baby, I'll kill then," she hissed.

"Mom it's not me. Ayla's in trouble," I rolled my eyes. For a second I didn't hear anything on the other line, only static.

"Ayla, the girl we saw the other day?" She asked with a curious tone. God if she thinks I did something I am in deep shit.

"Yeah mom, it's a long story. But I need you guys to help. uh..you see...Ayla here is a Angon. She is, I'm guessing, the last of her kind and the Fallen Angels kind of want her dead."

I heard a forced, soft laugh," You weren't kidding when you said it's a long story baby."

"Will you just come and help?" I was growing worried about Ayla and I couldn't stand being this far away. I didn't hear anything on the end of the line after that. "Hello?" The line went dead.

I put the phone down slowly thinking about what just happened, when suddenly I felt a hard brush of wind. I turned around to see my mom and the whole family behind her. She had a small smirk placed on her face with her fangs shining in the light.

"You called?"

Okay now sorry everyone but after this, it will all be back to Ayla (: lets see what exactly happened after that hit ;).

*Ayla*

I looked at Karoline with distaste and a hint of joy for the hit. I was honestly surprised I even had that ability, when all I did was think about how I really wished I could hurt her and boom! It happened. I looked over at Chase (Lily) and gave a small nod indicating that she can hold me down again now.

She looked in pain but did as she was told leaning me back to the ground. I could hear Karoline muttering terrible words to herself as she got back up and I couldn't help but smile. I could see Mya was distraught with the whole scene. If only she knew.

"Well, I hope you had the last of your fun. Because it will definitely be your last," she glared at me. I gave a scoff.

"That threat is so corny, I've probably heard that on a movie a hundred times. You need new material," I smiled. She shooed me away and looked back at Mya with a smirk. I tried to get out of Lily's grip.

"Yes but you see dear Ayla, unlike the movies I know your weakness and there is no way I am going to fail on using it. I know you care for all your friends and family," She looked back at me blankly," I also know you care for your mother and father? And also your Uncle? Or maybe Scott?"

I started to feel my heat rising from the anger forming inside. I could feel Lily's grip loosening, she was scared.

"You can't hurt my Uncle, he's Lucifer," I spat back.

"True darling, but you see wouldn't you think he would know about this? How I have you captive? And that his lovely son is possibly killed by now," she looked at her nails as she rambled on.

I knew she was lying about Austin, I would know if something happened to any of them. She was right about my uncle though, wouldn't he know though? But he told me this was an adventure for us all...maybe he meant this. To fight what's right. Find who I really am.

"You don't know anything, you bitch!" I screamed at her. She shot her eyes back at me, practicly sending daggers along. I could see behind my eyes that Jake was walking closer, probably to protect his precious master. Gag me.

Mya gave a soft gasp and that was what triggered me. There is no reason she needs to be in this mess or anyone else. Scott doesn't need to either. What makes Karoline think she can do whatever she wants to the people I love?

"Ayla your burning my hand," I heard Lily whisper to me with her eyes wide. I didn't even listen to her. I was too far gone. She ruined everything. She stopped me from the mission Lucifer gave me. He hurt Mya and kidnapped her. Jake was along with it the whole time. She isn't even Myas sisters. She is a witch. A fake.

I could see Karoline back away a step before standing her ground again. Lily finally let go of me and I didn't moved. I stayed still, seeing everyones eyes wide. The room was quiet, ready for a battle.

"Ayla, your glowing," Mya whispered.

I'm glowing? I look down to see my hands in pure gold light. I could feel my power coming to my fingers. I was ready for this. It was who I am. I am the Angon.

I look back up at Karoline seeing my eyes blue with a hint of glow in her eyes reflection.

"You want to threaten everyone I love? How about you try and kill me instead."

I ran for her.
