It was long ago, maybe a year ago when it happened. I was visiting my uncle like I always do but I came early and saw her in the room, they were talking about the most oddest things.

"Sir, I tried but he found me!" She cried as she was on her knees below him. His face was so angry I thought she was going to be put on fire. I moved just a little more to see her puffy face from crying. She looked around my age but looks can be deceitful. Her white dress flowed endlessly down to her ankles. Uncle has not changed since then.

"My lord, I got caught!" she screamed loud to be heard from her own hysterical sobs. Uncle never looked at her but only to the wall. His next words put chills in me.

"Getting caught was your own fault! What have I told you about humans?! They want us dead." His demanding anger made her pause her sobs to look up wide-eyed to the monster. I couldn't see all of it but I knew she wouldn't live so I left to wait again in the waiting room. While walking back, the shriek rang high.

The first day was nothing I ever expected. I couldn't believe what I was seeing through my own eyes. To see how they do it in movies and in real life you can see it's all very absolutely different. It all started when I went in my first class with no one I knew except for Karoline, and she wasn't too proud the first day she met us. No matter, I took a seat far at the end of the room to make sure to be alone.

I saw the others file in and sat still with nothing on my desk, waiting for the teacher. When she came in she was not happy with my lack of supplies on my desk and went right to my desk. Her glasses were stuck hard to her eyes and her hair was a total mess bobbing when she walked. Her mouth made a disappointing smirk.

Why is there nothing here?" she asked curtly. I stood straight as to not look weak.

"I am new here, Ma'am." That made nothing better as she looked at me in hatred already on my first day. When she was about to say something else the boy from the party came over abruptly.

"Sorry Ms. Kay, I'll help her," he said with a smile even she broke to. When she agreed, she left to go start class as he sat next to me. The vamp thought he could play nice now? Think again.

"So Scott, is that your real name or just a disguise for another thing about you?" I said with venom. All my life we have learned to never trust a vampire and that our lives are at stake much worse than being friends with an angel. He stiffened forcing a smile as he leaned towards me.

"I didn't need to hide my true name just like you Demon," he whispered harshly.

"Don't you call me that EVER! I am not a Demon!" I almost screamed but I held my control. He gave a small smirk and turned back to the teacher leaving me pissed.

After a long, miserably hour I finally left to go to the next class, Mythology. You would think I wouldn't want to com,e but this is the only class I find charming considering to them us demons are moving killers with no hearts. Little did they know, they are almost close to the truth. I looked at my schedule, seeing what room it was again when I suddenly bumped into Jake.

I could feel my cheeks turning red just looking at him smiling back down at me. His gold eyes were memorizing all the while.

"Hey," He greeted. I looked behind me thinking he was talking to someone, then turned back redder then before.

"Hi." I said simply and quickly to get it over with. He looked amused with this all the while. I then did the only thing possible and quickly started walking to my class.

When I turned to look behind me he was still in the same spot smiling at me. It made my stomach flutter and yet, also chills cover my whole body.

"Ayla!" I turned to see Luna rushing to my side with a bright smile on her face. She had her hair curled and skinny jeans and blouse. I smiled to myself knowing just like me, she would take this class.

"Luna, hey you take this too?" She looked at her schedule and back at me with a nod.

"Yup! Also, Austin told me to tell you he found a place for us all to meet and plan the mission. He said to give you this, open it when you get to your dorm." She slipped me a blue piece of paper and swiftly put it in my backpack pushing us forward in class. We chose a spot in the far back and settled in listening on and off.

"Who is that?" I turned to where her attention was with a puzzled expression. As I looked I groaned wishing I could get him to just get away from me! He was looking at me with a smirk in place like always. The kind that is hot, but is dangerous and you feel the cold chills coming.

"Scott." It was all I said as I turned back to the teacher ignoring his stare. Luna laughed softly to herself.

"He is so hot and he is staring right at you! Why so evil? "She winked jokingly to me. I rolled my eyes and then remembered she can't tell that he is a vampire.

"Luna, don't fall for his charms."

My face felt red as I could feel him still staring at me with that same smirk, those same eyes. I never knew if they had powers or anything so I just stayed still never looking at him. I kept my attention closely to Luna as she looked to him and back to me with a face I couldn't read.

"I would never, Austin is my soul mate! Although, I can't speak for you."

She said while turning back in her desk, staring ahead leaving me lost. She can't speak for me about what?? I took the chance to look quickly at him to see if he ever stopped. He didn't. He didn't have the smirk though, he looked somehow confused. When he saw me looking though he brought it back to his face and I turned away with a blank expression. I saw Luna looking at me calmly.

"Ayla, don't fall for his charms." she joked. I rolled my eyes at her and just looked back at the teacher talking about some story about Hydras. Could this day get any worse?
