*No one even heard of someone named Matt! -Luna*

I texted her back with a sigh trying hard to not get caught.

*Are you sure? Did you ask everyone??-Ayla*

*Yes. I am telling you, he doesn't go to this school at all. I even tried Scott, but oddly enough I couldn't hear anything. -Luna*

I leaned back on my chair with my eyes shut to try and think how to tell her the truth. She never learned about them, I only know because my uncle explained it to me a long time ago.

*Weird, maybe there's something different about him.-Ayla*

I held my breath hoping she wouldn't ask for more.

*Oh good, for a minute I thought you were going to say he's like Bella from Twilight!-Luna*

I smiled to that and sent a quick 'lol' back , putting my phone away.

I finally started to like Mythology, all their talk about Demons wasn't what I thought. It was all true, and it kind of scared me. She talked about how there is Half-Demons and then there is Full-Demons. She lectured on about how each has a different Gift and gave some out as examples. The whole time I wrote everything I heard down to make sure it is all true, that it can't be happening.

She told us her name was Ms. Diane even though Diane sounds more like a first name. She was nice, kind, and always helped people even if they were snobs. That's the thing, she stands out and knows everything about us! Something is up with her...and soon I will figure it out.

Soon after class ended, I went to her desk to see if she could answer questions. Before I even got off my desk she knew my destination. She looked up at me with calm ocean eyes, with a smile that was sweet. Her hair was in a bob with strands of black hair falling on her face.

"Miss Ayla, I see you are very interested in this class?" I gave a emotionless face to hide my confusion as to why she would know anything.

" Yes very much, your talk about Demons...inspired me to know how you got all this information." I said it in a way where she wouldn't suspect anything. She nodded softly with a soft smile that was starting to fade.

"Ah yes.. Well to say the truth, I have a friend that lets me borrow certain books." She looked at me intensely.

"About Demons?" I wondered if she had a friend who was a Demion which in other words is a librarian. But, for Demons. If so, then maybe she knows who I really am.

She looked at me in silence for a while as I felt tension crawling on my skin.

 "About everything."

She said it so calmly, no hesitation, and no anxiety on her face. If she meant that then I have no idea what she knows and how she has the ability.

"Oh, well is there any way I can borrow any?" I gave a smile to mean that I want to know more because this is an awesome class.

"Of course, but know that you can't show others. I am only allowing you." I nodded slowly and waited as she went inside a small room with a sign saying Danger Keep Out. She emerged with a big, torn-up book in her hand and a small black one in the other. "This one-" She pointed at the big one. "- Is about Demons. While this other one is about Angons." I stared at her blankly to this word that even I didn't know. What in the world was an Angon??

"Thank you Ms. Diane, I am blessed to have this generosity from you." I gave a small smile leaving the room, trying to keep control of my emotions on the way out.

"Good luck," she replied. The way she said it though, made me feel like she meant more then just studying.

I sat down alone at a empty table with the Demon book flat on the surface. The table of contents had more understanding then I ever did.

To be a Demon one must have the Gift, The Hatred, and the Choice. The Gift is different from many and they can have more then one Gift.

My uncle never mentioned this! Maybe that's why he is the most powerful.

Demons have the right to leave Hell and change. Once gone, you may never come back.

"Ayla?" Her soft voice spooked me dropping the book onto the floor. Before I could move, Autumn got it for me. She looked at the cover.

"What's this?"

"Things to know about Demons," I said quickly.

"Why Demons? Aren't they killers?" I laughed at that out of poor habit.

"Not all of them."

She shrugged and sat down on the other bench.

"Anyways, you busy Friday?" She looked at me with a shy smile.

"I don't think so why?" She started to widen her smile in excitement.

"You can come with me to go shopping for a dress!"

"What for?"

She looked at me with a blank look then shook her head in a sigh. She turned and pointed to a flyer next to us saying; COME TO THE DANCE NEXT SATURDAY, FROST DANCE WITH QUEEN AND KING VOTES. VOTE NOW AT WWW.FROSTERDANCE.COM.

"OH, Well not sure if I'll go."

"You have to Ayla! Come with me as friends?" Her smile made it hard to say no so I stayed silent trying not to say anything. I could see her disappointment and started to chew softly at her food. I couldn't take it anymore, and who knows? Maybe I'll like it.

"Count me in."
