*Ayla's P.O.V.*

I couldn't believe what I saw, I really couldn't. I blinked my eyes and pinched my arm to see if I was really awake. Considering I could feel the pain, I was definitely awake.

"Daniella?"

When she heard her name she turned back to me, terrified. She looked like a horrible mess. Her dress was torn to shreds, the same one she wore from the picture Mya showed me. Her hair was a big hairy knot and her whole body looked like she hasn't eaten in months. I wanted to turn away and find a way out, but I felt bad looking at her, in this state.

"Who are you?"

She asked me softly, like as if she hasn't spoken for years. I didn't know how to respond, I was too busy looking at her and hoping to god that this wasn't my fate too. I thought she was the one that was calling my name.

"Who are you!"

This time she yelled and started to back away from me.

"Wait! Don't go! My name's Ayla," I panicked.

She stopped walking and turned back to me. She walked slowly and stopped when she was only four inches away from my face.

"You're Ayla?"

"Yes....?"

Her eyes suddenly sparkled with pure joy.

"Oh! You are finally here! I have been waiting for so long to meet you and now I have and now we can leave!"

"Leave? Leave from where?" I asked looking around at nothing. It was still the same pitch black and the only light was coming off of her.

"From your darkness."

"My...what?" I should've known that she would be insane by now.

"Your darkness! You know, everyone has good and bad, and where we are right now is stuck in your darkest memories. Anything you are scared of, is in here."

"I am not scared of anything though."

"Exactly, which is why this place is just black and nothing except for the screams."

As if right on cue the scream came back louder and it made my body chill to the bones.

"Who is that?"

"That's you."

I looked back at Daniella shocked, it couldn't be me. I couldn't remember anytime where I screamed that scared me. If something like that happened, I would remember. Daniella kept going explaining to me why. I wouldn't be surprised if she could read my mind.

"It isn't from a memory of you screaming, it is just your screams. You are scared of nothing and since you aren't the yin and yang is unbalanced and they needed to fill in the gap, so they added your screams for whenever you felt worried and anxious."

I have to be honest and say that she made absolutely no sense. I never believed in the Yin and Yang, and I won't start believing now just because some woman trapped in my darkness tells me to. It made no sense involving my 'screams', this all seems like a lie and I am just waiting for the chance to catch her in the act.

"Say that what you say is true, then-"

"It IS true."

"Okay, since it IS true, how did I even get here in the first place? I recall being in reality about to kill a witch."

The moment I said the word 'witch', Daniella cowered in fear. It isn't surprising, it is very rare for demons to meet any other creatures.

"Don't kill the witch! If you kill the witch, the witch kills you," she exclaimed.

"That doesn't even make sense Daniella," I sighed.

"It's true! A witch can curse you from the afterlife. If you kill a witch with any of your powers, then she has the ability to kill you. Why do you think they are always hanged instead? Or burned at the stake? You cannot physically kill a witch. She can curse you or worse, she can use the last of the strength she has left and take over your own body. You would become merely a shell!"

I stared at her shocked. How did she know this? I tried to think back and remember that she is right, a witch has never been killed by powers or a weapon from somebody. If that is true, why could I even be here? I tried to look around again, but it was still the pitch black that it was 10 minutes ago.

"So how am I here?"

I watched as she opened her mouth and then closed it back up again. She started pacing and muttering to herself words I couldn't understand. By all of that muttering I could guess she was actually not sure how I got here. I am not surprised, she couldn't know since she was already here. I decided to take a different approach.

"How did you get here?"

Daniella stopped pacing and slowly turned back around to me, her face turning to fear once again. I noticed that the light that is around her, starts to go out whenever she gets scared.

"I was banished."

"Banished?"

She nodded slowly, "By master."

I thought hard about who she could mean, and it hit me. "Lucifer," I whispered.

Suddenly, she screamed. It was a piercing scream, the kind you only hear when someone is about to be killed. I tried to shut it out with my hands, but it was going through easily. I tried to get closer to hopefully calm her down, without scaring her even more.

"No, it's okay! He isn't here. You're safe."

She furiously shook her head, "No, I am not safe. We are never safe. He watches. He always watches." Her eyes looked wild and crazy with fear. I started to feel the chills on my body again.

"Daniella, I don't know what you mean. Please explain."

She started to cry, and walk away as fast as she could. Her light started to dim away to nothing.

"No, he's here. He found me. He found you. You must leave. He always watches."

"He found you? I don't know what you mean!" I started chasing her to catch up. She wasn't making sense. Why would she be THIS scared of him? Sure, everyone is scared of him, but never to the point of insanity.

"Daniella!"

She stopped and suddenly she was right beside me again, her face was inches away from mine. I could clearly see the bruises on her face, and her eyes red and filled with darkness.

"Goodbye Ayla, I hope we meet again."

"Wait, what? No! Come back!"

She shook her head slowly and for the first time since I met her, she smiled. And the light was gone.
