The Demon Inside

Chapter 4

"Doesn't look frosted to me," Luna awed. Brandon laughed as he ushered us all inside.

"Actually, you will see the name means something entirely different, "he grinned. I rolled my eyes and followed them inside the huge wooden doors. When I saw the room I thought I was in a castle. The tiles were white and shined in the lit room while the chandeliers hung with diamonds dangling off making a rainbow color form on the sidewalls from the light. The walls were all snowy white with blue specks everywhere you look.

There were tables and chairs in corners and also signs pointing to each room for the students. One girl saw me and gave me a shy smile before walking to one hallway. I look back at the others to see they are as shocked as I am. I turned to Brandon.

"Where do we go?" He pointed to one door to the far right with a glass window in the middle and a gold plate saying: Administrator. We all walked in to see a woman behind the desk wearing glasses and her dark hair in a ponytail.

"Hello, how may I help you?" Brandon gave her a smile and came forward.

"Hi I'm Brandon, I have my cousins here and they need a school to stay in because their parents passed away and have nowhere to go because the place they were going to stay in was full. May they apply?" He said it smoothly like it was never a lie to begin with.

"Of course," she looks at me, "Please sign these forms." She went in the drawer and gave us each a blue sheet filled with questions then pens and clipboards. We sat down making up a lie to every question because honestly, who wants demons here? After, we gave it back and waited as she carefully read each one then put it down.

"Lily, here is your key and schedule. You are in room 29 with a roommate named Claire, good luck." She gave the lady a nod then gave us all a hug before going to find her room. Brandon went with her (not surprising) to go make sure she finds her room and back to his. The lady then looked at Luna.

"Luna, here is your key and schedule. You are in room 50 with Abbie, good luck." Luna nodded, saying goodbyes and left hesitantly. After she said Austin was in room 81 with some guy named Chase, it was my turn. She smiled softly then took my form.

"Ayla, you are in room 42 with Mya, good luck." I gave a thanks and started for my room looking at every door carefully. When I finally found it I took the key out and opened the room. I looked to see the wall filled with stars and a painted sun along with a moon and clouds. The walls were filled with posters, and photos on my roommate's side. I was glad it was Mya because I have already met her. I went to my bare bed and put my backpack down.

"Hello?" I heard a noise in the bathroom followed with swearing. When she came out she gave me a surprise running to me for a hug.

"Ayla, I didn't know you go here."

"I just applied here. Nice to see you again," She smiled softly and went back to her bed to get ready for the night. I looked outside the window to see the moon was almost full and glowed in the night sky. Her stars on the walls started to glow and I was fascinated at all this work done. When I heard a soft knock on the door she went over to open it. It was Lily.

"Hey guys, Brandon asked me to see if you guys want to come to a party in an hour." She looked excited. I gave an; we are here for our job not fun look, but she shooed it away. Mya was happy to come and I felt defeated, so I finally said fine. When she finally left Mya turned to me.

"What are you going to wear?" She looked at my small backpack then back at me.

 I gave a shrug and went to my backpack and took out outfit after outfit. Apparently, before I left Lucifer jinxed it so I could take things that are in my room right out of the small bag. Mya widen her eyes then laugh thinking it was a magic trick. I saw I had 12 outfits and picked out a gold dress with red streaks that matched my eyes.
