Chapter 15

(Mya)

She woke up with a headache the size of Mount Everest, squinting to see what was around her. There were boxes everywhere and she was beside a gate, chained.

"What...Where am I?"

"Awh Sweetie, I have been waiting for our sisterly affection to begin!"

Mya knew that high-pitched voice anywhere and turned around to see Karoline looking down at her with a evil smirk planted on her face. She wore a dark red cape around her whole body, the hood down to see her hair flowing. Her hair changed too, it was black. Mya looked at her with widen eyes, scared to see her sister like this.

"Karoline what is going on?" She tried to wiggle out, but the chain would cut her skin, letting blood drop to the cold floor.

"Exactly what I have been waiting for my entire life. And for that to happen I need a sacrifice." She paced around deep in thought. Mya wanted to scream.

"You would use your own sister as a sacrifice?" Mya could feel a tear seeping through. Karoline blinked, looking at a vacant wall.

"That's where your wrong, I'm not your sister. Never was actually," Karoline laughed. "Your the bait, not sacrifice." She turned back around staring at her with cold eyes. "Wish I could just kill you now."

Mya wanted to just stop breathing, to die right there and never come back to see Karoline. She felt drenched with fear, scared to call for help.

" Why bait?"

Karoline was about to speak when there was a crash down the hallway. Karoline muttered and left to see the chaos.

Mya sat there, trying to listen on what was happening.

"What are you doing?! We have been over this!!" Karoline screamed at the newcomer.

"Sorry, I was busy." Jake. She knew him anywhere. Mya hated him in thought. She hoped to god Chase wasn't there with him.

"Busy meaning trying to reason with Chase?" She could feel Karoline crossing her arms.

"The asshole thinks he is all great because he is a angel and I'm a dark angel. Such friend he turned out to be."

"As long as you didn't tell him anything, I don't even care."

Mya could feel the silence tension heating up.

"I didn't, but we have problems now."

Karoline groaned. "What problems??? I thought I told you to make them disappear."

"You did but...Scott is with Ayla. So is Lily, Brandon, Luna, Austin, and Autumn. "

"YOU GOT TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME!!" Karoline screeched. Mya felt her heart thump as she could feel the anger in her voice. Jake was probably feeling the same.

"It will be impossible to just get Ayla now, but she is determined to find Mya."

"Well, get rid of them! Do whatever needs to be done, all I need is her. She is the most powerful one of them all, even more then her beloved Lucifer."

Mya's throat tightened. What did she mean about that? Is Ayla a dark angel too?

She heard Karoline's footsteps coming back, along with Jake's. Jake had black wings spread out that took Mya by surprise. She took turns looking at them both.

"Karoline, what are you?" Mya whispered, scared to hear her answer. Karoline cackled at her fear, looking at her deep in the eyes.

"I am a black witch, one of the most powerful witches to ever roam the earth." And maybe a big ego too.

Mya took a big gulp before she asked her next question, one she knew she would regret for the rest of her life.

"Ayla?"

Karoline just smiled, cocking her head to the side. " She's an Angon."
