He never spoke after that no matter how many times I asked who. I was starting to give up when he slipped me a piece of paper before leaving the class. The scribble was so small it was hard to even read.
'Meet me at room 261 at the end of the day.'
-Scott
I scoffed to myself pushing the paper down in my backpack. He thinks I will do whatever he asks?? He must be crazy! Even though..I was curious for the answer. I felt like I never left Hell at all. I went in the lunchroom looking for a place to sit once again not caring to find the others, I needed to calm down.
I looked around and finally saw a small redheaded girl sitting alone at a round table. I felt like that was the best place to relax and headed that way stopping next to her, waiting for her to put her head up. She looked at me with blue wide-eyes and blushed slightly for getting scared. I could tell right away what she was. The intoxicating ocean, salt water smell filled the air with perfume and chocolate. She was a Siren.
"Can I sit here?" She nodded slowly then went back to eating not sneaking a peak. I shugged and sat down on the opposite side. She looked lonely and helpless, I felt bad.
She possibly either knows her powers and hates them or just doesn't know and is a very fragile girl.
"So what's your name?" I tried small talk seeing if she will soften up. She looked up for only a second then back down.
"Autumn.." I smiled softly.
"I'm Ayla, kinda new here." This perked her right up.
"Me too! I mean..Well, I was a couple days ago.." She stammered a bit trying to find her words.
"Same here, kinda crazy right?" She looked at me with a sweet smile.
"Yeah, hard to make friends." She shrugged like it was no deal but her voice said otherwise. I started to feel bad not knowing what to say next. "Hey I gotta go, maybe talk later?" She looked at me with a small smile.
"Sure, love to." I gave her a soft hug, which surprised her, and let her leave to go to her next class.
I sat there thinking for the rest of the lunch about who could have done this and why. When the bell finally ended I got up with a sigh, dumped my tray, and walked to room 261.

As I stared at the wooden door I thought about how this is such a dumb, stupid idea. He could be tricking me and sending me to death where no one could hear me scream! As I thought that I knew how stupid it sounded, they have cameras.
I knocked once lightly waiting to see the door open by itself to a dark menacing room. But it didn't. Instead there was Scott, holding the door for me with a smirk that made me want to kill him even more. If that was even possible.
"Ayla, I am honestly surprised you actually came. I was started to feel sad." His sarcasm was not making it any better on his part.
"Yeah, I came and I only came for one reason only. Who was it?" It wasn't really a question but he knew what I was referring.
"Coffee? Such a nice drink to have when chatting with a sweet, beautiful girl." He looked at me again with a wink that made me want to gag. He is trying to flirt at a time like this?!
"No thanks. Now who??" I was ready to slap him hard.
"Karoline." He took a sip looking away from me.
I laughed. I just couldn't believe him at all. "That's Mya's sister!! Why would she do that??"
"Because dear Ayla, she is a witch."
This time I looked at him like he was retarded.
"Your joking right?" He looked at me in amusement.
"Why would I do that?"
I would have known if she was a witch! I can sense their smells. Also, she isn't a witch because then Mya would be one."
"Mya was adopted." I turned to face him directly shocked for the first time ever from him. She can't be adopted they look alike! I couldn't take anymore of this, I just cant.
"She isn't adopted and Karoline isn't a witch Scott, now I'm leaving." I turned for the door but before I could he caught hold of my arm, sending an electric current through me.
"Fine leave, but I told you what you wanted to hear and no matter what it's true." He moved closer to my face, close enough to see my reflection in his red eyes.
"And you know it." He whispered. He was so close I couldn't breathe. The feeling of wanting to kill him slowly washed away, as I tried to grasp what was happening right now. I noticed his expression softened up and he looked deep in thought.
I felt his hand coming up to stroke my cheek, pulling my hair away from my face. After a minute of the state I suddenly remembered what was happening and pushed myself away from him.
And ran out the door hearing him call my name.
