When I was thirteen I started to have to go to the demon school because I had no choice. That's when I met Luna and we became best friends instantly. She was also so honest and open-minded and I was always so secret that we were perfect. She was the only one to know all my secrets and about my mother going away. She thought it was so beautiful and wished she could go with her. We met Lily when she came later in class. She was gorgeous, but cried because her parents were their annoying selves. We both comforted her and added her to our small group of friends.

We never got in fights or hated each other because of guy problems. We always said we would be together forever no matter what happens. On that day we made a promise and have never broken it since. Austin came in later when we met and Luna fell in love with him right then and there. We are the best friends anyone could ever think.

As I walked to my class I could feel his eyes still on me. My mind was still wrapping up everything that has happened. But, what he said at the end is what irked me the most. Trust no one? Who am I really up against in Earth? And the last thing was giving me a choice. No one has ever been given this opportunity in demon history. Lucifer must know something, something bad.

When I finally came into class Luna and Lily were gone and I was to report to the office. Great. Finally there, I saw Austin explaining everything to them carefully. Luna was both in love and awe because Austin was at the point where he is coming with us all on the trip to Earth. Lily looked scared but when she spots me she smiled running for a hug.

"Oh Ayla! What's going on?" Lily looked at me with eager and fear etched in her eyes. Luna came and hugged me softly before going back to Austin clasping her hand in his. I looked back at Lily.

"Don't worry we are going on a trip." I knew when I said that she would have a head-full of questions. She sat back down with a worried look thinking it all through. Then it hit me.

"How do we leave?" I said to the whole room. Just then Lucifer popped in holding in his hand a sword the size of my arm and a small black box. He ignored the gasps from the others and walked to me with a smirk on his lips.

"My dear Ayla, I will take you. This sword is yours for when you need it and only open this box when absolutely needed," he warned. I stared at the box but nodded quietly putting both in my bag. I looked back at my friends thinking if this is the right thing to do. I mean I know I hate my step-mom but what about my dad? My other friends at my school? I would miss them dearly. Plus, this is my home no matter what. I could tell by their faces they want to do this and now I know it's because we will never get another chance like this ever again.

"Will I be able to say goodbye to my father?" Uncle Lucifer barely moved, just stared at the wall.

"He already knows and you must go now before it is too late." Lucifer was never one to argue with so I nodded sadly moving closer to my friends. Suddenly, he put his cold smooth hand on the wall and said a chant I couldn't understand, making an old black door appear where there use to just be a bare wall. He turned swiftly back to all of us.

"Hold someone's hand when exiting. Have fun." He gave an amusing smile and went away back to his home. Luna took Austin's hand and gracefully went through with no hesitation. Holding Lily's hand, we walked slowly following them inside the door to Earth.

"Are they okay?"

I heard an unfamiliar voice asking someone with concern. I could feel soft grass on the floor under me but I was too weak to move so I stayed still. I could feel Lily stir so I slowly opened my eyes. I saw the girl that spoke looking down at me with relief sketched on her face. She had a blue polka-dot dress on and black flats. Her hair was dark brown, long and straight. Her eyes were the color of the grass with a purple outline. From her appearance she looked nearly 15.
