Chapter 13

{Karoline}

"What do you mean she's not with him?!?!?!?! WELL MAKE SURE SHE IS!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs to the dumbstruck slaves. They are ruining the plans she so carefully placed together.

She rubbed her temples to stop the soon migraine and thought carefully on how this shall pan out. Scott with Ayla is ruining all of the things she needed done and with him always there she won't get the Gift.

"But..but my majesty I cannot stop him. He is too powerful for us and he keeps her away from our master for a reason," one bravely spoke.

She gave a dry laugh at the sad creature and without hesitation slit his throat with her claw nails. Blood trickled down her arm and she left it there for the slaves to understand. She slowly cleaned her nails though, licking it off.

"He is not your master my slaves, tell him to come forward." She didn't bother looking at them but heard the footsteps running to do her errand. She laughed again to herself full of power and magic at her will. That little bitch stopped her from killing poor innocent Mya, thinking she was her sister.

Karoline tapped her chin softly in thought. No, no, no I can make her be on my side, she thought. She then went to her desk, took a clear stone, and crushed it. She then recited the words again

' Nestay ama tono

jada desa vasu

fade into the sky

and seek who I find '

The dust clouded to a circle and showed inside what she spoke for. Mya was alone in her room reading a book that bored Karoline in tears. She had no Ayla to save her.

Karoline smiled.

{Luna}

"She is fine, darlin'," she soothed her love. She knew he felt worried for his cousin as much as she did. Luna has been best friends with Ayla for as long as she could remember. Meeting Austin took longer. She could still remember how they met.

It was on a November day and she was with Ayla at her 12th birthday party at the beach. She was playing volleyball when she got interfered.

"Hit the ball Ayla!," She screamed. Ayla replied by hitting it hard and just when she was about to return it Luna heard a noise coming closer.

"Luna watch out!"

"I got it! I got it!"

"Dude look out!!"

It all happened at once and next minute she gets pushed down to the sand with a guy on top of her with a frisbee close by. She had sand in her eyes and mouth, tasting like outdated salt with a crunch. The guy stood up and when she looked at him she fell instantly in stone mode.

"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry," He replied fast. He had black hair and she got lost in his milky-way eyes.

Luna doesn't remember exactly what happens next but since then her life changed forever.

"Luna?! Are you even listening?" Austin asked her, bringing her back to reality.

 She blinked then nodded swiftly. He spoke again to make sure. "I said, I know, but she is my little cousin," He had a sad, concerned face that broke her heart. Luna never knew what to do at times like these. At first before she knew they were cousins, she felt jealous thinking he was in love with Ayla. But now she feels like she was just a jealous girlfriend who just didn't think.

"Austin, she's fine. She's with Scott anyways." Luna added to find a way to calm him down. It gave the wrong effect.

"Exactly!! We know nothing about the jerk. He could hurt her." His hands turned to fists, making the knuckles white. Luna shook her head.

"Don't be absurb, you know damn well as me he would never do that." She snapped.

He finally took a slow breath and calmed down a little.

"Your right, we don't know anything really about this shit. I just worry." He went close to Luna and gave her a soft peck on the lips, filled with love. She leaned in close to him.

"I know darlin'. I know."

Heyyyy this is a small chapter yes I know but it shows the other characters and leaves you wondering desperately how EXACTLY this falls into the story...(;
