Phil walked alone in the rain, wondering if Dan would be messaging him on twitter or something at the moment.

He liked to walk in his neighborhood because most people had these big beautiful lawns with nice plants and animals lurking around.

He also had a forest somewhere near by, so he liked to wonder the trails until he started thinking too many deep thoughts and had to go home.

It was about 5 minutes when the thoughts already began swarming through his head.

Is Dan mad at you?

Is Allison changing him?

Is he ditching you for her?

Is he choosing between us?

Phil had to start walking quickly home, worried that he'd come up to the train tracks and get ideas he didn't want.

When he got out of the woods, lighting stuck on a near by tree, making him walk a bit faster.

"Hey useless piece of shit, you better not get my furniture wet!" Phil's father bellowed before slapping him across the face.

Of course he was going to bother Phil. Couldn't anything go right?

"You better not sit on the bed, on the couches, on the chairs, nothing!" He screamed in Phil's face.

"I won't." Phil muttered.

"Good, now scram!"

Phil ran upstairs, a tear slipping from his eye. He bursted through his door and sat on the carpet that was once white but now is tan with occasional drops of red stains of blood.

Phil opened the laptop that he snuck when he got in on his the floor. He signed into twitter but found no messages from Dan.

Disappointed, Phil went to his bathroom to shower. He stripped down and cringed at the reflection in his mirror. When he started the water, he thought the same thoughts again.

Grabbing his towel and laying it on the counter with his dirty clothes clothes, Phil felt the water with his fingertips and gently stepped in when it was warm enough.

Thoughts traveled through Phil's mind and have him thoughts, horrible thoughts.

Phil couldn't tell the difference between the water and his tears as he was finishing up. He turned off the water and wiped his eyes that were probably bloodshot.

Phil grabbed the towel and tightly wrapped it around his waist after quickly drying his hair slightly. He grabbed his dirty clothes, went into the hallway, through the clothes into the hamper, and scrambled into his room.

But he wasn't alone.

"Hey, what's up?" Dan asked, holding two juice boxes. "Fruit punch or strawberry-kiwi?"

Phil quickly grabbed a random
polka-dot towel from the floor and covered his chest.

"What are you doing here, my parents'll kill you!" Phil whisper-shouted.

"Nah, don't worry about it. Here, take fruit punch, it's better." Dan told him. "And nice polka dot towel." he added with a chuckle.

"Oh shut up." Phil stated, his cheeks turning to a bright shade of pink.

"Really though, it fits you. You should wear stuff like that more often." Dan added on.

"Alright, alright. I'll change. Just turn around. I don't want you seeing anything." Phil scolded.
