Dan woke up from the happiest sleep he ever had. Being able to wake up next to Phil knowing there was nothing in the way of them falling in love was a beautiful thought to him, and he wouldn't want to trade the world to let go of him for two seconds.

He smiled down at his sleeping boyfriend, stroking his soft hair gently. Dan groaned, remembering that he had to straighten his hair whether they were going out or not, he hated his natural hair. Groggily, he dragged himself onto the floor, grabbing a pair of boxers and pants. He giggled while thinking of last night as he slid up one leg of the jeans at a time, then continued to sneak into the bathroom and grab the straightener. Nobody in his family would be awake for hours and god knows when Phil gets up when he doesn't need to.

He went back into the room to see Phil smiling at him, "good morning gorgeous." He whispered, getting up and walking over to Dan to kiss him.

"Good morning," Dan replied, the widest smile you'll ever see spread across his face, "I'm going to straighten my hair."

He plugged in the straightener to the outlet next to his mirror. Phil wrapped his arms around Dan's waist with a sleepy smile as Dan grabbed a piece of his hair and began flattening sections with the straightener.

"You seem to be very happy this morning." Dan remarked with a smirk.

"I have no reason not to be."

Phil happily smiled, watching Dan bite on his bottom lip, concentrating on only straightening his hair, occasionally looking at Phil admiring him and giggling.

"Do you want to straighten you hair before I unplug this?" Dan offered when he finished, but Phil declined politely and put sweatpants on over his boxers.

Phil grabbed Dan's hand and pulled him down the stairs to the kitchen, "let's make pancakes?"

"Sounds perfect." Dan told Phil, kissing him on the cheek before heading to the pantry to grab flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. "Get one egg, butter, and the milk?"

"Sure." Phil listened and headed for the fridge and got the ingredients out.

Dan grabbed the whisk, bowl, pan, and measuring cups.  He carefully measured the milk while Phil sifted the flour in the large bowl with the salt, sugar, and baking powder, leaving a well for the wet ingredients.

"Oh my god, Phil! You made a mess." Dan laughed loudly. Phil looked around at the counter space, and he was right, it really was a mess.

Phil started laughing before he got a cloud puffed in his face, and looked over at a smirking Dan with a white trace of flour on his hand.

"You did not." Phil scolded playfully and threw a handful of baking powder at him.

It continued for several minutes, a war between the two boys. They then became tired and began actually preparing the pancakes, their bodies completely covered in powder.

They turned the stove on and began to put the batter on the pan. Phil began flipping pancakes and Dan wrapped his arms around his waist, leaving soft kisses on his bare skin.

"Babe, they're done, could you get the syrup?" Phil sweetly requested, and Dan happily getting it.

Phil filled out plates for the both of them, getting two forks and setting them down on the table.

Immediately, the started devouring the pancakes, occasionally looking at each other and laughing at how the powder covered their skin and hair.

"Wait, let me fix you hair," Phil giggled, "you've got some splinges."

"Splinges?" Dan questioned, laughing while Phil ran combed through Dan's hair with his fingers.

"Splits in the fringe." He told him, a proud smile on his face.

Dan smiled happily as Phil fixed up his hair, and then began to play with it, "How's Charlie?" Dan questioned, making Phil pause.

"Charlie?"

"Yeah, Charlie. The one who you were drawing that looked like me." Dan pointed out.

"Oh, right. I haven't worked on him since you first saw it, I haven't actually drawn much since you saw it" Phil pointed out to Dan, and slightly to himself.

"Really? Well then you should give me art lessons. I've always been pretty bad at drawing so maybe you could teach me your ways." Dan suggested happily, "c'mon it'll be fun."

He dragged Phil up the stairs and in his father's office. "Okay, so what do we need?"

"Alright, get a good eraser, two good pencils, a sharpener, colored pencils, and paper."

Dan collected all the needed items and brought them over to Phil, who then led him out the door and into Dan's room.

They took the two chairs that they used to play the sims and made themselves comfortable.

Phil began with a quick outline sketch, and Dan couldn't figure out what point of the paper to start at. "I'm lost".

"Okay, well, what do you want to draw?"

Dan thought for a second, searching the room for inspiration. "Oh! I remember your picture of Pikachu from the library, how about Charizard?"

Phil smiled and wrapped his hand gently around Dan's and began moving it to form a near perfect outline of the Pokémon.

"How do you do that?"

"I don't know," Phil pondered, "it comes natural I guess."

Dan scoffed as he looked down at the paper, "You're so amazing, did you know that?" He asked, pecking his lips quickly, "now let's do the details."

Phil continued to lead Dan's hand across the paper, making perfect shapes that slowly formed Charizard into a drawing that looks exactly like Charizard.

Dan decided that he wanted to color it, to contribute at least a bit, so that's what he did and Phil watched him happily as Dan stuck his tongue out in concentration, putting every little effort into staying in the lines that Phil neatly created.

"Done!" He cheered like a little boy. Phil looked at it and smiled, "where's my reward?" Dan begged, following by Phil kissing him.

"This looks great," Phil held it up, "coloring especially."

"Thank you."

"We should submit it to the library, I'm sure they'd hang this up." Phil chirped happily as he walked to the door, "but we should keep it on the fridge for now."

Dan giggled but stopped in the hallway, grabbing Phil and giving him a soft and long kiss.

Alright so I'm gonna make this short because I'm going to update an authors note for the next thing.

I'm not going to start saying that I'm ending the book or anything, but I just want to say a couple things, don't worry.

But I'm gonna apologize real quick because I'm kind of at a writer's block right now so this chapter isn't my best and really fluffy/cheesy.

So, happy late new year I guess :)

Love always,
Mary
