Niko's pov
Me & the boys were eating at this fancy restaurant. We were having a debate of who had the best rizz and it was obviously me.
Aj: Niko shut up, you don't have rizz
Kenny: I agree.
Niko: psh, You guys are just jealous because you don't have rizz like me.
Sharky: you're staring at the guy who has W rizz
Chunkz: yeah big man Sharks! ~ he says hyping him up
Niko: whatever
Aj: Let's make a bet. If you can strike up a conversation with that girl over there or ask her out, and she says yes ~ he points to the girl sitting alone at the bar with her back turned to us
Aj: we'll do whatever you want.
Niko: hm whatever?
Chunkz: Nah, let's put some money on the table.
Sharky: yeah a hundred each
Niko: Deal
Aj: Alright, go on then. ~ I stood up and made my way toward the bar area but didn't sit directly next to her. Instead, I chose a seat four sits away, wanting to observe her first.

As I looked at her, I couldn't help but feel sympathy. She looked broken, with slouched posture and heavy shoulders burdened by unseen troubles. There was a distant look in her eyes, as if lost in her own thoughts. A faint trace of sadness lingered on her face.

I decided to approach cautiously, not wanting to startle her or invade her personal space. With a gentle smile on my face, I leaned towards her and softly asked,
Niko: Is this seat taken? ~ she looks at me
y: No, it's not. Feel free to sit.
Niko: I'm Niko
y: y/n ~ Silence hung in the air for a couple of seconds till I broke it.
Niko: Did you know that the Eiffel Tower in Paris grows in height by about 6 inches during the summer due to the expansion of the iron on hot days? ~ She looks at with confusion
y/t: this dude is so weird...
she then laughs
Niko: There's that smile I'm looking for. Are you okay?
y: Honestly No.
Niko: wanna talk about it?
y: I just got dumped by my boyfriend... He left me for my best friend.
Niko: Well, he's a complete idiot for that.
y: I don't blame him. She's so much prettier than me, smarter, she's what every-
Niko: Stop. Don't compare yourself to her. I think you're beautiful just the way you are.
Niko/t: and I did mean it.
y: Yeah, now I think you're the complete idiot.
Niko: hey, look at me. ~ She looks at me. Her eyes definitely struck me to feel some type of way.
Niko: you are absolutely beautiful. I mean it.
y: uh thank you...
Niko: Come follow me
y: no way... you could be a kidnapper
Niko: a hot kidnapper. I'm joking. You can trust me. uh Niko Omilana, 24, no criminal record
y: Who mentions having no criminal record? It makes me suspicious now... ~ she says playfully
Niko: I promise I'm not going to hurt you. ~ I extend my hand out. She sits there contemplating but she eventually gives in. We walked out of the restaurant and headed to a place I like to go when I need some time alone.

when we arrived she was completely amazed. Her eyes lit up and her smile grew wider.

y: woah, what is this place
Niko: my secret spot
y: Is this where you bring all the girls? Just so you know, I'm not the type to hook up after meeting someone. ~ I laugh
Niko: No, no, definitely not.
Niko: You're actually the first one, and I'm not here to make out with you. I just want to help you take your mind off your situation.

Since that day, y/n and I have been spending a lot of time together. She's honestly the most perfect girl I've ever met. Her eyes, her smile, her personality, the way she makes me laugh. I just love everything about her.

~My Apartment~
y: so I was thinking we should have lazy day. We've been going out so much.
Niko: I agree.
y: How about we cook? Well, actually, just me. No offense, but you almost burned down my house.
Niko: No way! that was all you. ~ She stands up and heads to the kitchen.
y: whatever you say. ~ I follow her. She grabs an apple and takes a bite. I wrap my hands around her waist, and she holds the apple towards my mouth. I take a bite.
y: good?
Niko: yeah, it's sweet. ~ I let go of her, and we return to the couch. I put my arm around her shoulder, pulling her close, and she leans on me. As we watch a movie, she lifts her head up. Our faces are so close together. We gaze into each other's eyes and lips. Then, I lean in and kiss her. She kisses me back.

A voice brought our attention which made us pull back

Aj: Ahh ain't no way!
Chunkz: No!!!
Aj: No way he won the bet
y: what? ~ I look at her.
Niko: No y/n-
y: I gotta go... ~ she grabs her stuff at walked out.
Aj: my bad... I didn't know you felt-
Niko: Aj just shut up. ~ I chase after her
Niko: Y/n stop! ~ She keeps walking, so I hurry and stand in front of her, halting her. Tears are flowing down her cheeks, smudging her mascara. She tries to wipe her tears, but they won't stop.
y: I was just a freaking bet to you?
Niko: No, let me explain-
y: You don't need to explain. I've already figured it out. The night we met, you only approached me because your friends must've said that if I fell in love with you, you'd win something, not because you felt sorry for me. Niko, I opened up to you! You betrayed me from the moment we met. But on the other hand, congratulations, you got your reward. Because, Niko, I've fallen for you. I'm so in love with you.
Niko: I feel the same way too, y/n-
y: was saying that another bet too? Screw you Niko.
just like that she walks away... I didn't stop her because I've hurt her. And definitely deserves someone better than me.
