Nella: So when are you meeting your new roommate?
y: uhhh the owner texted saying he will be coming tomorrow morning

Nella: you're not going to like get to know him?
y: I am, of course but not like that
Nella: okay sure ~ she says playfully
y: goodnight ~ she starts laughing

yes a new roommate. My old roommate, Dess moved out because she's now living with her boyfriend. It was a bummer when she told me but I'm happy for her.

The owner had mentioned that his friend's nephew would be my new roommate temporarily, and I agreed because he offered two months of rent-free stay.

I just hope my new roommate isn't the pain in the head...

It was 5am and it was time for me to head to the gym. I got ready, filled my water bottle, and head over to the gym that was a 10 minute drive.

[10:30 am]

After the gym I decided to grab a protein shake and run a few errands before going home.

When I got home I already see boxes on the floor, so I'm assuming he's already here. As I put my stuff down somebody comes out of the room

Chunkz: Hey ~ I look up
y: oh hey you must be my roommate?
Chunkz: No, actually it's my friend his name is, N- ~ I get a call from Nella
y: sorry about that one second
Chunkz: No problem ~ I go to my room and answer her

Nella: So???
y: So what?
Nella: Did you meet him? Was he cute?
y: No actually but I met his friend...
Nella: oh well is he cute?!

y: nooo let my roommate settle in, don't wanna startle him

Niko I was downstairs getting the last box from the car. As I made my way back, I see chunkz sitting on the couch.

I put the box in my room

Niko: I need to buy drawers, let's go
Chunkz : alright ~ We walked out the door.

Chunkz : I met your roommate by the way
Niko: oh really?
Chunkz: yeah
Niko: oh cool
Chunkz: oh yeah on our way back could you drop me off back at my place I have to get ready for my cousin's party
Niko: yeah no problem

I went out to see no sign of the dude earlier, I brush it off and went to take a shower.

After I was done, I went back to my room. I heard the door open. I head out to see who it was

y: hey ~ the dude turns around
Niko: oh hey- y/n?
y: Niko? ~ we both say our names in sync
Niko: what are you doing here?
y: What are YOU doing here?
Niko: I asked first? Are you like my new roommates's girlfriend or something?
y: no, I live here...
Niko: You're my roommate? My uncle never mentioned i'll be roommates with a girl ~ he says laughing
y: f*ck... ~ I whisper to myself
y: look if you're going to be living here, I have rules for you
Niko: you should already know I break rules ~ he says smirking. I just look at him not saying a word...
Who does he think he is?

He sighs
Niko: alright tell me your rules. I'm listening
y: Clean up after yourself. Respect my privacy and I'll respect yours. Quiet hours after 10pm. No disruptive guest. No wild parties. ~ I say in a serious tone
Niko: okay
y: okay ~ I head back to my room not looking back. I close the door behind me and flopped on my bed...
