Happy tears

You just recently found out you were pregnant. For a week, you kept this secret from Sharky, wanting to tell him in a memorable way.

Today was the day you had planned to break the news. You bought an infant t-shirt that says "Hello Daddy" and placed it in a bag alongside your pregnancy test.

As Sharky was out with his friends, you waited for him to come home.

~ Hours later~
You see Sharky enter the room, making you sit up. He flops on the bed.

Sharky: ugh i'm so tired

y: I missed you
Sharky: me too ~ He puckers his lips and I lean in for a kiss.
Sharky: By the way, I have a business trip to New York with the boys tomorrow. Is that alright with you?

y: It's okay. How long will you be staying there?

y: bye, I'm going to miss you. ~ I wrap my arms around his neck, and he picks me up. I kiss his lips multiple times
Sharky: Me too, I'll make sure to call and text, don't worry.
y: okay ~ He sets me down, and I watch as he checks his phone
Sharky: Okay, I gotta go. They're here. I love you.
y: I love you more. ~ He gives me one last kiss before leaving. As soon as the door closes. I went to the room and crawled into bed. Sighing, I see the bag hidden by my vanity.

[2 days later]

I was cleaning around the house, blasting music. All of a sudden my music stops. I checked my phone to see an unknown number texting me.

I open the message, seeing a video. It was just a black screen with just an audio

Moans, Sharky's voice, and another woman's voice echoed loud and clear. My heart shattered, and tears streamed down my cheeks. With trembling hands, I swiped up for more information on the video. It was recorded not too long ago, in a hotel in New York.

I tried to take deep breaths, attempting to compose myself. I texted Sharky " honestly Sharky f*ck you. We're done"

Numbness enveloped me after sending that message. I finished cleaning the house and then took a shower to gather my thoughts.

I start packing all my belongings into suitcases and bags, I decided to call up Nella.

Nella: heyyy girl! What's up?!
y: Hey, do you think I can stay with you for a while... just for the week, max?
Nella: Of course, girl. You can stay as long as you need. Is everything okay?
y: Mhm... Thanks. I'll see you in a bit.

I began putting everything into my car and drove to Nella's place

Nella: Hey- oh my... y/n, are you okay? ~ I stand there, trying my best not to cry, but as soon as she pulls me in for a hug, I instantly break down.
Nella: Awe, babes, what happened?

Y: No... I found out Sharky was cheating on me.

Y: Yeah, as I was cleaning the house, I received a notification from an unknown number, and it was a video. I could hear his voice with another woman's

Y: Yeah, there's even more... ~ I look at her.
Y: Nells... I-I'm pregnant... ~ She softly gasps.
Nella: When did you find out?
Y: A week ago... I was about to tell him two days ago, but then he brought up going on a business trip, and I didn't want to ruin the mood for him because he sounded so tired. ~ She wipes my tears as I speak.
Nella: You know I'm with you through every step. ~ She pulls me in for a tight hug.
Nella: what are you going to do?
y: block him out of life. Have this baby. And it's just going to be me and this baby.
Nella: Eeee, Auntie Nelly? Sounds like a good nickname, right? ~ I laugh. I don't know what I would do without her.
