Nella: Hey y/n, please come!
y: Nella, you know I get scared when I'm with people I don't know.
Nella: But you know me.
y: Yeah, but you might leave me.
Nella: I promise, this time I won't leave your side.
y: Hmm... Can I bring my book?
Nella: Come on, y/n, let's have fun without your books.
y: Then I won't go.
Nella: Okay, fine! Bring your books.
y: I love you.
Nella: Yeah, yeah. Hurry up and pack.
I'm going camping with my friend Nella and some other people. I'm not very comfortable around new people since I'm socially awkward and prefer being alone, reading my books.
After finishing packing, I head outside to meet Nella, carrying two suitcases.
y: How long are we staying there?
Nella: Just four days.
y: It's camping, not a trip to Bora Bora.
Nella: Don't judge. These are my essentials to survive these four days. I'm not very fond of nature.
y: Then why are we going?
Nella: Because there's a cute guy going!
y: Nella, you promised.
Nella: I know, I know. I'll still be with you.
I drive us to the campsite.
Nella: Look, I see our tent! - Nella excitedly makes her way to the tent, and I follow her. We set down our things.
y: You know, I think I could stay here, read my book, and you can go have fun and talk to the guy you mentioned.
Nella: Are you sure?
y: Yeah, I'm sure.
Nella: Just call me if you get lonely.
y: I'll be fine, but you know we have no service here, right?
Nella: What?! How am I going to post on my Instagram story?! - I laugh at her. She leaves the tent, and now it's just me. I take out my book and start reading.
A few hours later...
Nella: Wake up, y/n!
y: I'm tired. - I say in my sleep.
Nella: Everyone is gathered around the bonfire.
y: I'll be there in a minute.
Nella: Okay. - She leaves the tent.
Feeling cold, I sit up, stretch, and put on my glasses. I tie my hair up in a messy bun. I'm wearing a grey shirt with my pajamas. I grab my blanket, wrap it around me, put on my slippers, and make my way to the bonfire. As I approach, I notice everyone is dressed up, despite the cold. I quickly sit down next to Nella.
y: Why is everyone dressed up? It's freezing. - I cross my legs and snuggle up with my blanket, zoning out and staring at the fire. Suddenly, I feel someone's gaze on me, and I look up to see a guy looking directly into my eyes. He's wearing a durag on his head, a matching black set, and white Air Forces. The eye contact creates some tension, so I look away.
Sharky's POV:
I'm sitting at the bonfire, everyone chatting away. Among the crowd, a girl catches my eye. She's the only one not dressed up, and I find it cute. Her hair is up in a messy bun, she's wearing glasses, and she's wrapped in a blanket. I watch her every move. When our eyes meet, I continue to look at her as the fire ignites a connection between us. She looks away

I leave the bonfire and head over the beach not so far and sit on the sand enjoying the sound of the waves. I take a breath in-
y: Shit! omg! sorry I didn't mean to curse ~ I say as someone taps on my shoulder. It was the dude that stared at me from across the fire. He sits next to me.
He laughs & and I felt embarrassed. I stand up
y: you know what, ima just head back. Don't wanna you know disturb you
Sharky: what?
y: I mean I must've taken your spot.
Sharky: No, I just wanted to talk to you. Don't be scared, sit ~ he pats the same spot I was sitting at and I sat next to him
Sharky: Sharky
y: I'm y/n.
Sharky: you're shaking... but you're wrapped in a blanket? ~ he questioned
y: It's you... you're making so nervous. I don't know why? it's probably because you're like so beautiful ~ He laughs
Sharky: You're funny. But thanks, you're beautiful as well. ~ I look at him and he looks at me. That stare omg what is doing to me?!
y: you look cold, It's pretty big, enough to keep both of us warm... or actually, four people.
Sharky: Sure. ~ I wrap the blanket around him, as I do, our faces were close. like super close.
Sharky: does eye contact intimidate you?
y: yea... well yours~ I whisper the last part
Sharky: I have an idea ~ He takes the blanket off of us.
Sharky: Sit infront of me
y: uh what?
Sharky: Just do it~ he says while giggling. I sat in front him.
Sharky: you can lean on me ~ I slowly lean on him while getting into a comfy position. He wraps the blanket around us creating a cozy space.
y: what was exactly your idea?
Sharky: so you don't have to look at me when we talk. You can look at the sea while you're talking to me
y: okay. I like how we're sitting. you're comfortable ~ I giggled
Sharky's povSharky: You know, I didn't really want to come here, but now I'm glad I did because I met you. When you walked towards the bonfire, you were the only one who stood out. You looked mysterious, and I had to find out what the mystery was about you~ I hear a quiet snore coming from her.
Sharky: y/n? ~ I lean over to see her face and she's sleeping. I mean she did say I'm comfortable. I take off her glasses and setting on top of my head. I gently grabbed my phone and take picture of her. It was honestly the cutest thing.
