only - kazuha (pt3)

A few weeks had passed since you last talked to kazuha that night, you'd come across each other yet another time last week but this time you didn't even share a glance, you did manage to admire her while she wasn't looking, what could you say? She's just stunning gorgeous. But that time, you were out with joy, and you could see she wasn't all that amused at you for eventually having your eyes on kazuha yet again, even when joy was asking for your attention.

As time passed, your relationship with joy became more unstable day by day, and to think that before kazuha, before she ever appeared again everything was going so well, joy would be taking you out on vacation to the Netherlands and you'd be spending a few days there, just for the trip to be cut off last minute for a "break"

Yes, you both had decided it was best to take a break from the relationship for a while, she was already growing tired of your obvious feelings for kazuha, and you couldn't blame her, from one day to another you just threw away your relationship for a girl who you didn't even know would talk to you again, you really thought joy was the love of your life, but the newly arrived nakamura kazuha seemed to rain a bit on that idea.

It did hurt you that joy decided to take some time for the relationship, but you understood why she did it anyways, that's why you decided not to pry, although you could say you now felt a bit free, quite relieved even, the thrill of being able to talk to kazuha without remorse was crazy, but you felt terrible for joy, she'd been with you for 2 years now, 2 years of hardships and nice times with her by your side, you were in love, you knew that, but kazuha seemed to reignite a certain spark of passion that you couldn't quite explain

Along with joy calling things off for the moment, college was ending, exam week was over and you went out drinking with your friends, jaehyun, ten, xiaojun, karina, ningning, xiaoting, taehyun, and sakura (the MOST random group of people but they're my biases so let me be)

Sakura said she'd bring along her friends from her job, and so she did, it was 4 girls but one of them was underage so she couldn't drink yet. You and everyone else were sitting at a booth in a nice bar downtown, everyone was here except for sakura, and you wondered what's up with her, but you were interrupted by ningning's dumbass dropping a cup of beer right in front of you

"BRO WHAT" you exclaimed as you stood up and shook the alcohol off your shirt "I'll stink now" you muttered to yourself as you cleaned your shirt with a paper towel, "you're worried about stinking from a few drops of beer in your clothes while you're drinking vodka by the gallons man" taehyun said and everyone started to laugh their asses off, the alcohol in their system getting the best of them

"WELL HELLO EVERYONE" a voice appeared faint a few feet away, the music resounding loudly, you turned to see sakura and three girls trailing behind her, you stood up along with everyone else to greet sakura, "these are my friends, yunjin, chaewon, and kazuha" she introduced them as she sat down, 'fuck me' you muttered as the young japanese awkwardly smiled at you and you waved slowly, looking away quickly afterwards

"is it me or do I feel a kickass tension between those two" xiaoting whispered to sakura, who quickly dismissed it "huh?? I don't think so, those two don't even know each other" she said

After a few rounds, you were way too tipsy for your own good, and kazuha being sat next to you certainly wasn't helping, the little amount of sanity left in your body was fighting fucking demons (the demons are gayness) to not do anything against the rules of etiquette

Soon after, kazuha noticed you were going yet at another shot "y/n you should stop that" she said as she took the drink from your hands

You shrugged and tried to take it away from her, but she wouldn't give in

"Look, you're all sweaty, let's go clean you up" the girl said and took your hand, leading you ti the nearest bathroom

The butterflies in your chest felt like fucking silverfish because they were so intense

Then you remembered. You remembered what she said, how she turned you down, and you wondered why she kept leading you on

If that's what she was doing

You tugged your hand away from hers as you got to the bathroom and she frowned "why are you doing this?" You asked

And she smiled slightly "Because I want to" she simply said as she wiped your face with a paper towel

"No. Why are you doing this after saying all that you said that day after coffee. You're leading me on and I don't like that" you said looking down, as she kept touching your face (more like cleaning your face)

"Because" she paused and looked at you intently "I love you, and I want to take care of you" she said and got off the sink

"What..." you sighed, face palming, you couldn't understand what she wanted now, after telling you you couldn't be together

"What I said the other day, it was kinda true, but it was because you were dating someone, y/n. I couldn't just meddle in between" she said as she led you off the sink as well

"True" you mumbled, but had a questioning look on your face "but now, that I'm not dating anyone, can we...?" You didn't finish, fearing judgment

"Well, if you properly take me out, we'll see" she smiled and planted a peck on your cheek

She started walking out the bathroom, leaving you dumbfounded, with the biggest smile on your face

She'd be yours again.

A/N: hi guys I'm so frustrated right now because I was deleting some scraps off this story but I accidentally deleted a the 2nd part to you which was a yunjin story and one of my favorites, and also I stayed there which was a xiaoting one and ALSO one of my favorites but I can't go back now😭😭

On a more positive note I could finally finish this one
