Watch me - Seulgi

Kinda Barbie and Ken inspired Seulgi oneshot. Not entirely the whole dynamic but to an extent yeah (also Seulgi as ken and you as Barbie)

"Barbie has a great day everyday, but ken only has a great day if Barbie looks at him"

"Hi y/n!" Seulgi said excitedly as she tried to get your attention, one she yearned for yet she couldn't really get often

"Hi Seulgi!" You said and waved back at her, but just as quickly, you averted your gaze to your friends which were walking with you

She dropped her shoulders and sighed, grabbing her purse and subtly walking toward you

See, she had been crushing on you since middle school, and now that you had very real jobs and very real responsibilities that crush didn't really seem to go away

You were aware of it, but it never really bothered you, she was sweet and would treat you better than any other person would

And that's exactly why you couldn't get close, you weren't interested in having anything, for the past ten years, that's what you'd told yourself, so you were scared of acknowledging her, because you knew that if you did, you'd most certainly start to develop feelings for her

She was good looking and down bad, and her personality was just as amazing, so you always waved her off, politely dismissed her, or just ignore a few of her offers on going out

"hey, y/n, do you um have a second?" She asked, making you turned around and nod after hesitating for a few seconds "What's up?" You smiled

"So, I was wondering if you'd like to go to my finals game on Saturday" "Finals? For what?" You chuckled and she sighed "See, I play with this kinda of big team in town and we're having conference finals today, so I had a few spare tickets and wondered if you'd like to come"

You thought real hard, but real hard, you wanted to go, especially because it meant you could see her playing basketball, something you never thought you'd see

As always, you thought about saying no, but you figured you'd already hurt her feelings enough, so it wouldn't be that big of a deal to support her for the big game

"Of course, it'll be a pleasure" You smiled and she froze, smile growing by the second, 'Is this a dream?' Seulgi wondered, but luckily your voice woke her up from the trance and she smiled

"I'll think you need to give me the ticket before I leave, silly!" you giggled and she nodded rapidly "Right..." she gave you one of the tickets she had in hand

she handed it to you and fixed her hair, you hadn't noticed how silky it was before, you kinda liked it... Wait no, what are you saying?

"Well, I've gotta run, I've got practice," she said and took off  "the game's tomorrow at 6!" she looked back and kept running, you couldn't help but smile

You got home and got rid of everything in your hands, including the ticket Seulgi had given you to her game, you carefully placed it on your bedside table and went to bed.

The next morning, you looked for the best outfit you could put together for a basketball game. A red shirt and some jeans, simple yet made attractive with a leather jacket on top, you weren't interested in a relationship with her (that's what you thought) but you sure as hell wanted to dazzle her as much as you could

And off you went, to a fate that has been yet too delayed
