It had been half a year since Rome

Yunjin really could not stop thinking about that night, she was so sure you were her person in the little time you were able to taste each other.

She was now in her hometown, spending Christmas with her family. New York City was a hard place to be in on the holidays.

Her whole family would be spending Christmas with her parents, although she planned to stay at her friend's place, watch movies and drink hot chocolate, play video games and spin the bottle with her other friends

Everything was just fine with her, she was happy, single, and young, so she had nothing to worry about.

"So yeah, everyone on the group chat's invited, plus a few friends from Washington" yunjin's friend spoke to the phone, yunjin was in her apartment, getting ready to go out for brunch with her sister, Rachel.

"Okay, that sounds good. Did you say Washington, as in Northwest?" Yunjin asked, specifically because certain person lived in certain city on Washington

"Yeah, not sure which city, far end though" Yunjin nodded and finished buttoning her shirt, and hung up. "Fuck I'm late" she mumbled as she quickly got her keys and wallet, ran out her apartment and caught a cab

"To (random restaurant) please" she told the driver as she got in, her hair a little disheveled, also a little longer and a little more orange (a lot more orange) hair suiting her body perfectly, she vaguely thought, 'y/n would probably tell me it suits me' and she sighed, chances were that they'd never meet again, and that left yunjin with a heavy heart

"We're here, it'll be 2 bucks with 18 cents ma'am" the taxi driver told yunjin, who was already getting the money out of her purse, "thanks" she got off and went into the restaurant, to meet a very unpleased Rachel

"Can never be early, huh?" She said, yunjin laughed, seemingly very amused "Did you see what you did there, ayeee" (in the most yunjin tone ever) she continued to giggle, while Rachel just sat there, unamused as people stared

"If you keep embarrassing me like this let me bring up how I'll be getting 70% the inheritance" Rachel smirked and yunjin's mouth fell agape, she played with her hair awkwardly "yeah no, let's not talk about that" now it was Rachel's turn to laugh

"By the way, where are you spending Christmas? Dad was asking me" Rachel asked Yunjin as the older ordered a drink "I already told you this, at chaewon's place" (let's pretend they live in nyc too☺️)

"With who?" "Why are you so nosy?" "Will charger girl be there?" Yunjin was held back by that mention, god did she want that woman so bad, "what the fuck? Why would she be there?" She rolled her eyes, knowing Rachel just wanted to mess with her

"Fine, geez, that really seemed to hit you" "you know how I feel about that" yunjin said as she took a sip of her drink, wanting to drift away from that topic

"Anyway, when are you getting a boyfriend" she laughed mockingly at her younger sibling who only rolled her eyes and giggled a bit
