Chapter 16 - Richard's revenge?

I opened the door for the policeman and stood back to let him in. He walked in and I closed the door behind him.

"Are you Tula Contostavlos?" He asked me.

"Yes, why?" I replied.

"We've had a complaint of common assault from a Richard Rawson" He explained.

"He came round here asking to talk, I said no. I never touched him" I responded.

"Can anyone confirm that?" He questioned.

"Yeah my Mum and my boyfriend Danny" I told him.

"Your Mum what?" My Mum asked me, hearing I'd mentioned her.

"Richard's accused me of assaulting him. Please, very kindly, tell this policeman that I never touched him" I added.

"She hasn't touched him. He came round asking to talk to her and she told him no and to get lost" My Mum explained.

"What did he want to talk about?" The policeman quizzed.

"I was on drugs a few months ago and I pinched his phone and I sold it. He's got it back now though." I explained.

"Are there any drugs on these premises?" The policeman quizzed me.

"No there isn't  and you can even look" I snapped.

"It's fine, I believe you haven't assaulted him so that'll be it for now" He responded.

"OK thank you" I replied, closing the door behind me.

I went upstairs to bed as I was tired. How the hell can Richard accuse me of assault when he knows I haven't been anywhere near him? I hate him more now, than I did do before. if that's even possible.

The next morning.

I told Danny about Richard's little plan, to set me up for assault. As I suspected, he wasn't happy.

"The slimy little twat! Wait until I see him!" Danny warned.

"No Danny, please, you'll just make it worse!" I begged him.

"You're gonna let him get away with this?" Danny asked me.

"No I'm not, but sooner or later, he'll forget what he's said and he'll trip himself up" I told him.

"I just hope you're right" He sighed.

"I am" I laughed.

"If you go down for something you haven't done..." He warned.

"It won't come to that" I replied.

"It might. We both know what a good actor Richard is" He answered.

"Yeah I know" I agreed.

Danny stayed at mine for the day and I decided to ask my Mum if he could stay tonight, as I am now sixteen and all that. Costas came round later on as well. We had a relaxing day, just the three of us. We had movies, food, drinks and I had the best boyfriend and cousin ever!

A few hours later.

Costas went and my Mum said yes to Danny staying the night, as long as nothing happened, which we promised not to. What she didn't know wouldn't hurt her though, eh? She was going out with some mates tonight so we decided to wait until she'd gone out and we slipped upstairs. (I'm sure you don't need me to spell out what happened!) 

My Mum came back later on and I was getting some toast. I felt a pair of arms slide around my back and a slight smile crept across my face. Suddenly, I felt trailing kisses down the back of my neck and I turned around to face Danny.
