Danganronpa: Despair to Prodigy's

Investigation #3

(Bell POV)

The announcement rang, yet I was starting to get used to this. Considering our situation, I don't know if that was good or bad, but it seemed like Hestia was also getting used to it.

We were then given the Monokuma file and it read as follows.

RIAS GREMORY, KILLED AT 12:11 AM. CAUSE OF DEATH, STABBED THROUGH THE CHEST BY A SHARP WEAPON

ISSEI HYOUDOU, KILLED AT 12:11 AM. CAUSE OF DEATH, STABBED THROUGH THE CHEST BY A SHARP WEAPON.

The Monokuma file didn't hide anything which was a good thing. We knew the time and how the murderer was killed. Now, as for the murder itself...

"Wow..." Horikita muttered as she looked at it "There's...Nothing really,"

There weren't any signs of resistance. There wasn't even any sign that anyone had been in the room. The bodies were stabbed through the chest and the back, and the bed was covered in a red similar to that of Rias's hair.

Noell then walked closer to the bodies.

"You're wrong, makeup is on the faces of both Issei and Rias. Is it ok if I remove it?"

"Please do," Horikita said

When we did, we saw a giant bruise on the face of Rias. Issei on the other hand didn't seem to have any other injuries.

"Likely this means that there was actually a struggle," Kyoko deduced "Anything stick out to you Ayanokoji?"

Ayanokoji didn't respond though, in fact, he seemed so disinterested in the murder that he wasn't even looking at the room. He was leaning against the wall waiting.

"..."

"Hello?" Kyoko said again

"..."

"Tch,"

She clicked her tongue, then set her eyes on me.

"Bell, you are my partner this time since Mr. VIP over here decided he doesn't want to help out. Go look around in the storage room. Let me know if you see anything out of the ordinary.

"Y-Yes!"

"...Can I go with him?" Hestia asked timidly

"No," Kyoko responded as she continued searching the room for anything else

"Hestia," I said in a quiet voice only she could hear "You'll be safe with everyone around here. Horikita can protect you if anything happens,"

Despite looking terrified she quickly nodded "Ok,"

She seems to have grown more lately. I'm hoping she can be less dependent on me and learn how to support herself though.

As I was going to leave I noticed Subaru staring at the door. 

"Locks broken,"

"Glad you noticed," Kyoko said sarcastically as she didn't even look at him.

I quickly ran to the storage room to look for anything. The only thing though was that one of the make-up packets was gone.

"...I can't rely on Kyoko alone," I said quietly as I left the room. 

I needed to draw my own conclusions like Ayanokoji said. 

Who do I find suspicious? As ironic as it is Ayanokoji is the only one so far. He refuses to speak and refuses to help with the investigation. At the same time though I feel like he has a bigger plan going on in the back.

Maybe Subaru? He's been fairly quiet.

As I had that thought though, I returned and filled Kyoko in.

"So only the make-up packet was missing?" Shinobu said  "This killer hid his tracks expertly. Anyone could have done this since punching someone across the face when they just woke up isn't too hard,"
